My first split stay, how does this work?

Well I just added a couple of days to my upcoming trip on the front end, I'll be doing my first split stay. I have two days at All Star Movies and then moving to Coronado Springs. So I have a few questions.

Originally I was driving and spending two days in Daytona and then driving to Orlando. Now I'm flying into MCO. I booked through Disney and added Magical Express to All Star Movies. Since this is a split stay and I didn't originally book Magical Express....can I just tell the concierge desk and have them add me to Magical Express to return me to the airport after I check out of Coronado Springs?

Also with bell services...do I just give my luggage and Garden Grocer order to Bell Services when I check out of All Star Movies and will it be sent over to Coronado Springs? What is the standard tip for this and who and when do I give it?

Lastly...since we just did room reservations for All Star Movies and plan to relax around the resort, mini golf, shop, dine in Downtown Disney, etc we will not have our tickets yet since they are linked to the Coronado Springs reservation. Will I need to take a cab over on the day I check out of All Star to check in and pick up my tickets to get into the parks or can that be done from All Star?
Thanks for any anticipated help!!!

You can actually pick your tickets up up to 3 days early at guest services at DTD or a park if you wanted some park time before your CSR reservation. See the ticket sticky for more info on that.

You can call and have your DME return added to your CSR reservation

I never knew that. Thanks for the tip!

We just did the same thing on our trip (Sports to POR). I would call ME ahead of time and have everything set up before your trip. Everything went off without a hitch for us.

We tipped on both ends of bell services, $1 or $2 per bag. And yes, you just drop it off at Music and later in the afternoon you can pick it up at CSR.

Have a great trip!

Thanks :)

We won't need our tickets early...we have no plans to hit the parks, trying to relax :) When I go from All Star Movies to Coronado I'll be going early so I can check in, get my tickets and head to the parks....how easy is it to get a cab? I've noticed cabs around but I've never needed them and have never noted where they are located or how to hail one.

Thanks :)

You can actually just catch the first park or DTD bus that comes along, and when you get there just catch a bus over to the other resort. It's easy and saves you the added cab expense. :)

Thanks...but I'm not interested in two buses, we are meeting friends and just wanted to go directly to Coronado Springs. I'm just curious where the cabs are located or if they are located :)

if there's none out front they will call one for you. It's really easy to get cabs

you can get a cab right outside the front door, i think bell services can call one for you.
