Traveller: Me, myself and I.
Destination: Coronado Springs Resort
Duration: From 29 april through 13 may.
Chapter: DAY 7 (monday 5 May).
This time I didn't set the wake up call because there wasn't a time I needed to be somewhere this day. Fortunately I sleeped very good this night and it was past 8am when I woke up.
Also this day is going to be a relaxing day at a slow pace.
Orginally I had planned to go to Universal today, but because I had irritating shoulders I decided to move my first Universal day to Wednesday in the hope it should be better then You know Islands of Adventures has a few very wet rides.
However the irritation wasn't gone it feeled much better then the day before.
I put on the TV for a while, Showered and wentv to the Pepper market for some breakfast. Also this time I eat two items from the bakery along with orange juice. The Bakery at the Peppermarket is amazing. So much different items to choose from. They have more different items then there were at the Cape May Cafe breakfast buffet yesterday. However you need to pay for each item.
It was about 10.30am when I hopped on a bus to the Magic Kingdom. This time I started my visit at Main Street Station and ride the train the full loop, just to relax and looking outside what was going on. After this I walked straight to Fantasyland to get a fast pass for Peter Pan, its allways busy there, so the best is to get a fast pass early before they are sold out.
Can't remember what rides I did and in which order, but started with the Snow White ride and browsed Mickeys Toon Town for a while. Of course I did the usually Rides lik Pirates and Big Thunder Mountain and also Splash Mountain. Can't get enough of them. Splash Mountain was also a try out how a splashing attraction should feel with my shoulders. it went out pretty good. Did the ride two times after each other. May have used fast pass, can't remember. Also did the Tiki Tiki Room and the Country Bear Jamboree. Can't remember if I did more rides or not. It wasn't that busy at all today. Also browsed some shops and sat on a bench for a while in the shade, just people watching with a drink.
Also saw the afternoon parade at 3pm. In between I grabbed some MC fries as a snack.
About I think 5pm I exited the Magic Kingdom and took the Resort Monorail. First made the full loop through the Grand Floridian to just check out that place and the shops. The same I did at the Contempary Resort.
After that Resort hopping it was near 7pm I thought. First wanted to go to MGM for Fantasmic, but for some reason I thought I should be to late and choose to go again to Epcot by monorail to see Illuminations. The best show on property.
After entering Epcot I did once the Space Ship Earth ride and after that I went straight to Mexico. Had dinner at the Cantina there. It tastes pretty good, but it was hard to find a table, so after walking around with my food, I ended up seating at the stairs besides the entrance of the Mexico pavilion. It took me also a good 15 minutes to get the meal.
After finishing my meal I went to my favorite viewing spot and shortly after that the Illuminations show started.
After viewing illuminations I exited Epcot at the International Gateway. The boat was just loading and there was place, so I entered the boat. Get off at the Boardwalk. Walked around for a while and finally I went to the bus stop and hopped on Downtown Disney bus Exited the bus at the Market Place and browsed through some shops there. Didn't go to Downtown Disney or Pleasure Island. Think it was about 10.45 when I was sitting at the ground at the busstop near Pleasure Island waiting for the bus to Coronado Springs. And now comes the surprise. A few minutes later while I was waiting for my bus there appears Phillip. That was really a surprise. Also I was happy to say goodby to him, because we lost each other at MGM studios last saterday. I knew that he was leaving tomorrow. We talked a few minutes till my bus arrived.
Of course I used my mug for a free drink at the resort and went to my room. I had allready decided to go to Seaworld tomorrow. Orginally I didn't plan to go to seaworld, but since a second waterpark day at Typhoon Lagoon is out because of my sunburning, I really liked to go to Seaworld. Tomorrow should be a good day, because I could arrive early. Its an early entry day at the Magic Kingdom, so I can take the bus to the MK and take the Monorail back to the TTC to catch the Lynx bus.
I also want to have breakfast at first at the Peppermarket. So because of this I set the wake up call at 6.45am and after that I went to bed.
