My First PTR, how do people get sick of talking about a Disney Trip??

Hello.....let me introduce my family.

Me:

DD9

FB Shadow - 10 year old german shepard ( goes to the dog sitter)
FB's- Sabrina and Lucky ( they stay home)

I am the Disney freak I have not always been one
it all started in 2003 when we took our frist trip EVER to Florida. I was hooked, we are working on trips # 3 and #4, i have some making up to do since we have not visited since Nov 2004
Finding the DISboards has not helped, it think it fuels my fire for all things Disney.


We have two trips planned to WDW in 2009, the cast In February will be DH, Me and DD9. DD17 will sit this one out .
we are set to fly out of Milwaukee at 11:27am on Thursday February 5th 2009, less that 5 months from now.
we are staying offsite (the shame ) but we plan to visit WDW for 3 or 4 days.
we also plan to visit the beach/ocean, and mabye a few more sights, but basicly just hang. This will be our longest trip to date. ( 7 nts/8 days)


our next trip is the most fun to plan, my sister is ALREADY sick of listening to me - LOL
it will be Myself, both DD's and my sister......girls only weekend onsite at POR ( already booked and paid in full, see told you i am addicted!!)
it will be my Sisters first trip, and i want t o make it fun for her.

SO........

I keep wondering, how am i going to get through until our trip (s), without driving everyone crazy with my Disney talk????

I picked up a PT job in the evenings to help add a little $$ to our trip, WOW i will be able to save up enough green stuff to do a few more"special things" on our trip.

here is another one good way!
we bought a HOTUB!
that will make the time fly by.......night after night, sitting in the hottub. in the fall watching the leaves blow, in the middle of winter, etc. It will take my mind off trip planning right?
Well....i think i WILL be sitting in the Hottub thinking about the trip! ugh.

but, by the i will be so much closer to the Holidays!
The Holidays always make people of other things than vacation RIGHT? ( hope so)
that will take my mind off trip planning too! - after the holidays we will only have ONE MONTH left.
SO......i am down to 4mths, and 27 days. as of right now.
IS there a CURE for this?

I too never tire of talking about Disney, previous tips, future trips, someone else's trips. I think most of my friends are used to it by now (even if I still bug them). Anytime you want to talk, I am here...

I do not think that there is one.... and why would we want it anyway??

I am a bit obsessed with my trip planning as well so I can realte. Congrats on the 2 trips in 09. I am lucky enough to do that as well in March adn October! I can't wait to read more and if you wanna read about my plans so far check out my ptr.

A little info about this trip.....

February 9th 2009 will be our 10th Wedding Anniversary,

and since we did not take a Honeymoon, we planned on a nice big trip on our 10th Anniversary. I even planned to have a party, to keep me inspired, i kept a box of our wedding napkins in the cabinet with hopes of using them at our I am a sap, DH thinks i am odd to save a box of napkins for 10 years
is it normal to throw your own Anniversary party?

so.....this trip is a gift from MIL for our Anniversary. She has a timeshare and we had decided in fall of 2007 that we wanted to go to Hawaii. well, after 6 mths of no availabilty, and getting under the 8mth mark, we decied it would be cheaper and easier to stay on the mainland, so DH & I decided we would like to go the florida keys for our trip. No problem, DD's would stay with Grandma, and we would have a great time at a different adult vacation spot ( Hawaii was our #1 adult spot)
so.....forward to July 2008 and we still had no availability in the keys, next try Orlando.
Low and behold, we got a ressie! we have a vacation spot.

So that is where we are, i have a TON of stuff left to plan/do/think about but we have a resort, and we have airfare, thankfully, i got that booked before prices went through the roof!
the only thing we MUST have next is a rental car.
DH would really like a mustang convertible, so that is my first agenda, secure the man a fun

this will be the first taste of our girls only trip PTR, but i will update later.

I drive my sister crzy talking about Disney world, I do. I cannot help it.
this summer, i asked her if she would like to go with us sometime, and thus the girls only weekend was born!
.......August 2007, i tell my sister about the lower rates during
Hurrican season, and being a much as a weather freak as i am, she said thats when we will go.
an added treat would be free dining if it's offered.
So this is first ever trip and i am going to make it great.
AAA rates for WDW resorts came out in early August 2007, and we jump on that rate right away.....so we are booked. thats it. sorry that trip IS over a year away
