My DH (just learned that) is helping me start my first thread. Well, anyway, the other day we were talking about how we'd both like to lose some weight before our next trip to WDW. I told him that I was going to start a chart of my weight loss with the target being May 2007 (our tenative next vacation). He said that I should start a "thread" and have fun with it. After I thought about it - it sounded like the perfect idea. I am attending meetings and weighing-in with a weight loss program. I figure losing 2lbs. per week starting now until the end of May 2007, I willl reach my weight loss goal of 90 lbs. (overwhelming I know). Along with my meetings I can combine some fun in with my postings on the disboards. I joke with my DH that maybe next year I will be able to keep up with him in the parks! I have really buckled down this past week but must admit I have reached for food that will not help matters but stopped myself and thought about my inspiration - here it is: this past trip (May 2006) my oldest son asked me to go down the slide at Stormalong Bay with him and I declined - not for vanity reasons, but for physical ones - lots of stairs and a pretty fast-paced way down - just not in shape for that. Next year I'm going to take him up on that offer!
