Sounds like you will be getting a great deal on tickets.
I forget where yo usaid you are staying, I suppose it I just look back in t he post I could find out. LOL!

I know our time is getting close. Less than 2 weeks. I looked at accuweather and the week before is supposed to be 80's, and so far the week of is looking good too. Of course for you it's no big deal, but I live in Ohio where our buttts are freezing off!

LOL we are staying at the Royale Parc Suites! Supposedly they're just a mile or two from the Disney gates
& I understand what you're saying about the weather! I don't like blistering hot (which is why we prefer going spring break instead of summer!) but i HATE the cold weather. My sister lives in Colorado & we usually go visit her for Thanksgiving & I am miserable!
What I am most concerned is the rain! I hate being in Orlando when it's rainy because it puts a hault to everything! Over the past 20 years of my life my family & I have always had good luck with the weather so i'm praying this year isn't an exception! I want sunshine!!

Hi There! Congrats on the trip, you must be sooo excited! Yes, you need to get a camera for WDW (and a large memory card lol) there are so many great places to snap some cute couple shots... and give your camera to the photopass people too so they can get some freebies of the 2 of you!

Ok, I am in love with WPE, EoS and Ghiradellis! The pasta and BBQ quesadilla at WPE are to die for!!
EoS is just the best sandwiches around and my DF is a HUGE sandwich guy(what guy isn't lol)

Now for my personal fave... the ice cream sundaes, they are enormous and sooo yummy. You will be in heaven!

I am super excited! I haven't had a camera since I was 13 LOL! After being with my boyfriend for almost 5 years, it's sad to say we barely have any pictures together because of course guys don't care to buy a camera and take pics LOL! This will be a good way to catch up and take tons

Thanks for your input on EoS, WGP, & Giradellis! I can't wait to try those places out because I have honestly heard a lot of great things about them! I'm going to try and take pics of food as well although my DBF might think i'm crazy

My DH thought I was kind of nuts in 2007 for taking food pictures. Last year I decided not to do too many, and I regretted it, so hopefully this year I can keep up and get all the food. We have more places this year too. Plus I rarely take any of the snacks. I want to get some of those too. Or lat least remember what we got. Usually wiht DH it's just popcorn though. LOL!

DBF & I aren't really planning too many "fancy" meals. We didn't do either of the dining plans because we're in college & on a budget so I will probably just take a few pics of the out of the ordinary foods! We are planning on trying out T-Rex in DTD though because we really enjoy the atmosphere of the Rain Forest Cafe! I'll be sure to take some pics there! I think taking pics of the snacks is an awesome idea!!

Okay so I (along with Jensieb from Ohio)are praying for decently warm weather! I don't like super hot, sweaty, humid weather but I sure don't like it when it's cold! Nothing is more miserable than walking around a theme park freezing & even worse...having the cold wind blowing while you're on the rides!
In '07 when DBF & I went for my early graduation present it was at the beginning of March as well! The weather was beautiful! Not too cold, not too hot! It was slightly chilly in the morning but by noon shorts and tanks were totally appropriate and at night it wasn't cold either!!
Jensieb said she checked accuweather and said the temp should be in the 80's! The only reason I started to worry is because my mom said a lady she works with went with her family 2 weeks ago and said the weather was FREEZING! Other than rain, that is my other fear. That it will be super cold!
Not only, as mentioned earlier do i HATE the cold, but i JUST bought a ton of cute new vacation clothes that consist of shorts and halter tops!!

On the other hand, I talked to a friend who went at the beginning of February & she packed all winter clothes and said it was really hot when she went! Florida weather is so fickle & unpredictable!!!

It's cold in Florida where I live but like I said, we live in the panhandle which is a good 8 hours away so with that being said, hopefully it's a lot hotter down south starting march 7th

Great outfits! I started packing 2 weeks ago! LOL!
I checked accuweather yesterday and so far the first two days are now in the highs 70's. Of course it all can change as it gets closer, but I will be loving 70's!
My parents went the week of Feb 8th and said it was really warm and nice (70's and 80's) My sister went Jan 22-25 and it was chilly. I know FL has had some unseasonable weahter this year, but hopefully we'll be OK. Knock on wood!

It changed again! LOL! Now lower 70's for the first two days (march 8 & 9) and chance of afternoon shower on the 8th, and then higher 70's on the 10. BUT I watched this last year and it changed several times along the 15 day forecast before hand and then went to pretty much the righ forcast the closer it got.

Hahaha yeah, I'm sure it will change again!! Atleast I'm hoping! I guess i'll just pack some jeans/pants to be on the safe side! I already tend to over pack as it is! Now my suitcase is going to be stuffed since I will be practicaly packing for two different climates

Okay so I'm frustrated.
As I had said before we were going to get this really great deal on our WDW tickets from the military base because my dad was in the Navy. He had previously talked to a lady that works at the travel center on base and apparently she didn't know what she was talking about. She told my dad that DBF and I could get a 5 day hopper for $125 as long as I had a valid military ID. So..On Wednesday DBF, my dad, and I made the 45 min trip to the base, sat 30 min to renew my ID, and drove to the travel center just to be told that in order to get our tickets at that price my dad or mom would have to go with us to the parks
Funny thing is, the same lady my dad talked to was working & she tried to play it off like Disney had just changed their policy. I don't believe that for a second, i'm pretty sure she didn't know what she was talking about in the first place. And to top it all off, she tried to talk DBF and I into going to Universal Studios for 7 days because they had really cheap tickets. YEAH RIGHT!! We are Disney people, not Universal Studios people. Yes, we are going to Universal/Islands for a day but 7?? I don't think so! In fact DBF & I went to Universal/Islands two years ago and got BOTH parks done before 7pm It is fun, but not for more than a day, let alone 7
Besides, there is no way we're giving up our beloved WDW
We might end up having to trek back to the base again though because the tickets, although they were the same price as disneyworld.com, are tax free so that helps but now DBF and I are on an even slightly tighter budget now that we are having to pay regular price for our tickets. We will be okay though I'm just so ready to leave!

That is so annoying about the lady at the miltary base! I cant beleive she tried to cover it up like that, and tried to talk you into Universal!!! Anyone can buy a 7 day universal pass right now for $99, how much money did she really think she was saving you! That is very frusterating, hopefully you guys can get some passes to WDW and enjoy your visit and forget all about that inconsiderate lady!

Bummer. Would it be cheaper to buy 3 tickets at the military price than to buy two at full price? If so, could you do that? Or does your dad have to show his ID at the gate?

If it's 45 miutes to the base, you might just equal out with the gas you are spending and get them at the gate instead? Or check out what your local Disney sotre has them for. It might be worht it to get them there so you don;t have to wait in line or drive far (if you have a store near you)

But actually, we are also members of AAA & their tickets were slightly cheaper than disneyworld.com.We might just go there because there is a AAA pretty close to my house because you're right, the gas to get over to the military base would probably end up costing us the price difference!

& yes, it was VERY annoying, especially for DBF because since he was going to be saving some money with the tickets, he had planned on buying some new clothes like I did. He will still be able to though because his grandpa is going to give him some money so it worked out! I still wish we could've gotten that discount though

Exciting news!!
My parents said that they realized DBF & I have been working really hard to save for this trip & they know we don't make a lot of money (gotta love minimum wage jobs!)
My parents have decided they would pay for our tickets!!!
Both sets, Disney & Universal/Islands!!
I am SO thankful for this! This really gives us some money to splurge now! DBF & I are now worry free when it comes to our budget. I couldn't seem to thank my parents enough! It still doesn't seem true

4 days until we leave!! (If you don't count the actual day we leave hehe)
Until then...I have two midterms
After those are out of the way....Disney or bust!!
