My first post... I'm diving in and have a ?

Hi Disney Friends! I am SO EXCITED to have found this board and all your Disney expertise and words of wisdom. So I have been reading and reading and reading and reading... all the great posts... but I still have one specific question.

I am ready to reserve a room for me and my daughters for 9 nights in June/July and they want to go to the water parks a couple days. What "magic your way" ticket do I need? If I purchase the 7 day with hopper/water park option will that get me into something every day that we are there or do I need to purchase the exact number of days of my visit? I don't want to pay for more than I need but I would be so sad if I did the wrong thing.

I've been to Disney tons before as a child and the past couple years but we've done 2 day trips and with that my choices were MUCH simpler. This time I've decided to take our time so we can enjoy it all and not feel pressured to run ourselves ragged. Plus it'll be hot, so we'll be able to have a little bit more patience with our time.

If you check the myw ticket prices there is only a few dollars difference between the 7 and 10 day passes. I'd buy the longer passes in case you want to give yourself more flexibility. We go in July and somedays we'd go to a waterpark in the am and then go back to a park at night. This way you won't have to worry about "saving" your tickets. Have fun planning!

I hadn't thought of visiting the parks after the water park, but that is a strong possiblity being the water parks close so much earlier... I'll go for the longer MYW pass.
