OMG!! Me too! I'm shaking as I wright this! We usually go the 3rd week of December anyway. I too will have to do more investigating to see what kind of dining plan!

I got it too. It's an e-mail from Disney Destinations. It looks like it goes right up to Christmas with the exception of Thanksgiving weekend. There is a slightly higher price for one time period. We're planning an August 2010 trip so it's no good to me right now, sigh! And I don't see why it wouldn't be the regular dining plan as that's what it's call, not the Quick Service Dining.

I got it too! I've been trying to convince DH that we could go over Thanksgiving week -- think I'll make a call to just see what the price would be for 11/21-11/28 (only 11/24-11/28 wouldn't be included in the deal).


So, here's what my prices were for 2 adults, 1 child for 7 nights (dining plan included for all and 6 day tickents; non-PH):
POP Century $1,549.50
Coronado Springs $2,057.52

Seems like a good deal -- priced online w/ same info (but paying for dining plan):
POP Century $2,186.23
Coronado Springs $2,694.39


Thoughts?? We've never stayed at either resort, so do you have any opinions as to what would be better??


Now, the big thing will be to present this idea of a 2nd vacation this year to DH; we'll see what he says tonight!

Just called CRO. The CM reported it is the Dining Plus Plan, but could upgrade to Deluxe Plan for $32/day. I'm pretty sure we will book at least through the 17th of Dec. and make another resi to stay through the weekend.

As of now, yes. However, a general public discount could be released if Disney so chooses. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

I just got this pin too I'm trying to figure out online what my basic price would be before I call and talk to CRO. Is the discount just free dining or is there a discount on the room or tickets? Mine was worded exactly like the first poster. I'm assuming it's just free dining but hate to spend the money to call just to find that out.

I received a pin for quick service free dining if staying in a value resort. The deal was for dates in Nov and Dec. If you stayed at a moderate or deluxe then you qualified for the basic dining plus (with 1 TS meal) for free.

I signed up for the value resort deal; because, I thought I wouldn't get a better deal. Now, it sounds like there's some hope for free basic dining plus with a value resort.

Congrats to all who got this code. It's a keeper!

Well, I spoke too soon. I did get a pin, but it is not free dining (which is what I wanted). It is a room only discount for date from August to the beginning of October. I wish they would have sent me the dining pin. I would have booked for sure!

Both my husband and myself recieved this PIN in our e-mail today (at different e-mail accts). We are already going in September with free dining so we wont be able to use them. but this is the second PIN i have recieved this year. The first was for free dining till oct.

I would assume it it for dining plus,
as a family of 4 would be saving $535.00 at a value.
