I have been a few times with my hubby and 12 year old twins. We were just there in June, but mainly did Universal. ;)
I have been invited to go in October with my sister n law , adult nieces, and one of their friends ! :)
So five of us will be going !
We want to do the food and wine festival for sure.
What other must do's should we do ?
We will get there on a thurs. the 11th, staying in a condo.
Then the girls will leave on Sunday, while sis n law and I will stay at the all star music till Tuesday !
Any suggestions for fun stuff for us to do !:confused3
Thanks !

Well. We are having a big meet up on October 13th at Epcot. Check out the Singles Social Club for info. Other than that. Maybe DTD, being able to enjoy the parks by doing whatever you want to.

You're also going to be down during the weekend of the Swan/Dolphin Food & Wine Classic ...

They have the all you can eat/drink causeway tickets for Friday and Saturday night. While tickets are ~ $80 per person, it's probably one of the best F&W events around. Great food and a huge selection of wines. I actually chose my F&W trip this year to plan around the Swolphin event. Serendipitously it timed with the big DISer meet as well :thumbsup2

I did an all girls trip last october and I think the best memory for all of us was the Brown Derby Fantasmic package. Right before we went in for our reservation a disney photographer took your picture and gave us fast passes for toy story. ( Yay for disney magic). pixiedust: We skipped the wait for a table by saying we would eat outside and had a server pretty much to ourselves for the next two hours as we chatted our way through dinner. Not only was the food great but just to sit down and relax for a bit and just enjoy being together is what made this memory so wonderful.

We’ve done drinks and appetizers at the different hotels around the monorail.

All great ideas everyone ! :)

Is there any place to go dancing in The World ? :confused3

I am interested in this question too! There is a dance place at the Boardwalk but I was curious if there was anything in the area like Pleasure Island used to be?

your best option would be to head towards Citywalk at universal.

Someone already mentioned tea but it's our favorite thing to do on our sisters' trips. We usually make it a late lunch. Reservations may be necessary; we've found that it really depends.

Dancing at Disney is pretty much limited to Atlantic Dance Hall at the Boardwalk. Citywalk has many options. . .but truly I hate cover charges. . .ADH at Disney is relatively free (No cover, drinks are pricy) Citywalk has cover but the drinks are slightly, and I mean slightly, cheaper. . .Better dance places though.

It's worth noting however that many of the Universal park tickets.... and i believe the Blue Man Group tickets, include access to the Citywalk clubs. If you were thinking about visiting the Universal parks anyway, or were interested in taking in a BlueMan Group show, it is extremely easy to enjoy the clubs without paying the cover.

(And if you are just heading to the clubs, I believe there is a "party pass" you can purchase for around $13 that allows unlimited club hopping that night, similar to the way Pleasure Island was setup if you didn't have a WP&M ticket)
