My first FP+ glitch....

Seriously though, last night at midnight my 60 day window opened up. DH and I firmed up our plans for the trip and decided what we wanted to get for FP. I logged in right at midnight and although the system is a bit cumbersome, it worked just fine and we got everything that we wanted.

Except for one of the days. We were planning to do AK on Saturday. I started the FP request, and the system said that only I was eligible for FP and not DD or DS. This was strange because it is right in the middle of our trip and my DD has an AP and my DH has an 8 day ticket for the entire trip. I went ahead and booked the FP for me thinking that maybe it would let me copy them. No luck there.

So, I canceled the FP that were just for me and tried again. The next time through it let me book FB for me and DD, but not DH.

At this point I was getting annoyed, so I booked the FP for the rest of our week, without any trouble go figure, and went to bed.

This morning when I log into MDE all my FP+ selections for the week look fine, and on the Saturday that I was having trouble with it shows a whole bunch of FP+. Three for just me, and three for me and DD. There are even notes where my FP+ overlap.

The extra FP+ also show up when I check the app.

ETA: I just gets better. I just scheduled FP+ for my DH on the app. The new FP+ selections show up in MDE along side all the other ones that I have in there.

I just had a similar experience was up at midnight trying to make sure I got all of our FP on the 60 day mark. MDE system would not work for me at all! Kept saying I needed a valid ticket, even though I do haves one and it's been linked. Tried again at 7 AM and all was working well and got all my FP. Glad you were able to get your FP too.

Yikes, I would not have been too happy if I waited up and that happened. As it was my DH was pretty grumpy about the process. He was threatening to sell our DVC at 12:20AM.

I wonder if it is a glitch with some rides changing "tiers"? was able to get a FP+ to TT where none was previously available (gave up my LWTL FP-it is now a tier !!) and still keep my Soarin FP+...also tried to change and cancel the Anna&Elsa M&G as my kids said they really didn't care about it-figured i would let some other family get it who really wanted it (miss the paper FP+ in this case! Would have just handed it to a fam headed to standby line but system wouldn't let me cancel or change experience

There are often glitches with the FP+ booking system at midnight eastern. We had a similar issue trying to make changes to the next morning. We would make a change for our entire party of seven but then they would only be made for six. The same person was left off every time. We were able to clean it up the next morning before the parks opened.

We weren't able to get FP for both Soarin and TT on the same day. Is that the norm? We'll be going to EPCOT several times so we just booked TT and Soarin on separate days.

Soarin and TT are both Tier 1 selections, so no, you can't book them both for the same day. You can only book one Tier 1 selection per day.

It is normal to.NOT get soarin' and TT on the same day prebooked. They are both tier 1s. Some folks have stated they had previously booked living with the Land as a tier 2 choice but Disney announced a few days ago that ride will bow be tier 1. Folks have been able to change LWTL to TT or Soarin'.but that is only b/c the change in tiers.
