Well I guess it is not my first....I had to book my developer points but it was my first at my home resort! I got AKL CL Jan 16th for a week! She was surprised I did not want KV but I want to try CL at least once! So off we go in Jan! My 6yr old was shocked that I wanted to go in January....we just went this past December and it was way too cold to swim ( for us anyway ). So she was concerned about not getting to swim in Jan!!! lol

It is crazy how quick these go....the cm told me she grabbed the last one for me!

Now to figure out how to use the rest of my 2008 points!

Great! I also felt the need to book Concierge soon, before all of the AKV points are sold, and all of the owners are going for it. Glad that you got a whole week. We're going for 3 nights in March.

You were able to use your developer points at Jambo House? When did you buy in? I bought into AKV-Kidani and understood the developer points had to be used at SSR or Kidani only.

Developer points were good at SSR, the Disneyland resorts and at II, no other resort.
Reading the first post, it appears that the OP is saying that this is the first reservation at the "home" DVC. The developer points were used before.

Congrats on getting concierge for a week! That will be a wonderful stay. We're going next January as well.

We may see you there! We are staying CL @ AKL Jan. 7-16th.
I'm so excited about it. It will be our first stay CL. We will be celebrating DH's b-day, our 5 year anniversary, and me FINISHING THE HALF MARATHON!!!

We will be staying AKV then too, but not CL. AND....finishing my first half-marathon.
