My First Ever Dining Review! (Updated with Kringla & Le Cellier 3/5)

I also tried Yak & Yeti !! I agree the rice isn't that great !! I did however LOVE the fried wonton dessert~!!!
A place I ried this trip was Kouzzinas I was a little apprenhensive about the "Greek" but it was DELISH!!! Service was outstanding !! I really don't like being rushed as in my entree coming before I;ve finished my soup !!! At Kouzzinas the timing was Perfect !!!
I think I was expecting it to be a little sweeter, :confused3 Ive never been to Kouzzinas but I'm sort of picky, I'm not sure I would enjoy it.

I did the Epcot Segway and loved it!! I have also done the Fort Wilderness Segway and LOVED it also.
That was sweet of your BF to pay for your treat out of Pocket it looked AWESOME
I have Y&Y on my list for next time!!!
It was very good, but he teased me about it for the rest of the day:)

Loving your reviews!
Thanks :goodvibes
Great reviews - Yak and Yeti looks great. :)
:goodvibes

Loved reading your reviews. Great job!
Thank you! :)

Great review so far! The Autotrain is so interesting to me, but we live in GA. Nothing fun like that here.

After Yak & Yeti we went to ride Everest! and then saw the Nemo show. BJ wanted to go on the Kali River Rapids and I told him NO WAY. :sad2: He insisted on walking over that way just to see how wet people were getting off the ride. I told him that depending on where you are sitting you either get a little wet or completely soaked!

We decided to use some of our snack credits at this time. I got a soft pretzel and he got Glazed Almonds. I forgot to take a picture though because I was excited about eating my pretzel and BJ didn't remind me until after we had finished :rotfl:

Pretzel $3.79
Almonds $3.59

After our snack we walked the jungle trails and got to see the trainer feeding the Tigers! popcorn:: She threw this big hunk of meat over the fence and blew a whistle and the tiger came out and jumped into the water to get it. It was really cool to watch. After the trail we found a spot to watch the parade.

It was EMH that night so we did It's tough to be a bug and the Festival of the Lion King show. Then we went on Dinosaur and BJ decided he didn't care to go on primeval whirl. We went to Restaurantosaurus for dinner.

We both ordered the Bacon Double Cheeseburger with fries and a drink. I ordered the cheesecake shooter and BJ got the chocolate mousse.

disney2010239.jpg

The burgers were okay, nothing special, I thought the bun was sort of dried out. The fries were soggy too. I was very disapointed in dessert. I had ordered the Cheescake shooter. when you look at the picture you and sort of see this shiny liquidy stuff on top with an orange slice. This orange flavored glop ruined the whole dessert. I only ate one bite. BJ's mousse was delicious, and very rich. He only wanted one bite so I ate about half of it. We ended up taking the rest back to the hotel and putting it in the fridge.

After dinner we went back to POP to get ready for Cirque Du Soleil.

disney2010240-1.jpg

The show was interesting. There were some awesome parts with acrobats but, the whole thing was very strange. I didn't know what was going on most of the time :rotfl: BJ thought the show was great.

After the show we headed over to Planet Hollywood. We got a $15 coupon with our package and since BJ had never eaten at one we decided to just go for appetizers.

We decided on the VIP Platter which was Chicken Crunch, Buffalo Wings, Texas Tostados and Spinach dip for $18.99

disney2010249.jpg

The wings aren't in the picture, but BJ said they were good. the chicken crunch was also good, the coating was a little sweet, not like chicken strips usually are. The tostados were also sort of sweet, I thought the spinach dip was the best part! It was hot and creamy and very yummy. I even got BJ to finally try some after asking him a multiple restaurants over the past few years. And he liked it too :woohoo:

I also ordered a chocolate banana smoothie. I can't remember the exact name but I think it was spiderman something

This was just alright, I kind of thought the banana flavoring was a little much.

You're doing a great job on the reviews! :thumbsup2 I'm really enjoying them. We're doing Teppan Edo on our next trip in April. We've never eaten there before so it was good to see the review. I hope we get enough to eat!

Great PH review! Appetizers are always the best things to get at those kinds of places-- I LOVE spinach and artichoke dip and that one looks fabulous!

PH is DD's favorite restaurant !!! She loves the Decor !!! We usually get the steak, or me the LA Lasagna !!! Desserts on DDP were confusing in September !!! They said they were for 2 but looked like single serve to me !!

Just am joining in and LOVE it so far!:thumbsup2 I want to eat at Teppen Edo in September but my DH hates any sort of sauce or seasoning besides salt and pepper on his meat... do you think they would cook his without the soy? This is on the top of my places that I want to eat at.

Enjoying your reports. :)

I've just started to read your blog too, it's really informative! I've graduated from college now so I'm unable to do the CP, however I might look into doing one of the other programs. :thumbsup2

It was a nice way to travel. We were literally the youngest people on the train though, :lmao: as it was filled with snowbirds going south for the winter.

I thought there was enough food, so if you are like me you will probably have enough to eat.

It was very good! I really like to get appetizers, but then you are always too full when your meal comes!

BJ and I spent some time walking around on the upper levels so he could get a good look around.

Really enjoying all your posts!!! Its actually making me hungry
:lmao: that happens to me too when I read a review on here!

I'm not sure. See you are seated at a table with 7 other people, sometimes other families, they cook everything together on the same grill. Now when I went since I have an allergy the first offered to cook mine in the back, but the the chef said he would just do mine first. So if he doesn't like soy sauce I guess he could get it made in the back, but that isn't much fun.

After staying out late at PH and DTD we decided to sleep in the next morning. We had reservations at the Sci-Fi Dine In for lunch.

BJ got a chocolate milkshake and I had the oreo one. Both were included on the DDP

disney2010291.jpg

Both were verrrry thick and very good. It lasted the entire meal.

We decided to pay OOP for some of their wonderful Onion Rings

disney2010292.jpg

The onion rings were crispy and delicous. They were not greasy at all and the onion didn't fall out when you took a bite.

I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries.

disney2010294.jpg

This was good, I didn't care for the bruchetta so I just scraped it off before I ate it, although it was kind of dry with out anything on it.

BJ had the Ribs and fries

disney2010293.jpg

He was not impressed with these at all. He ate a few but said that they were dry and the ones at TREX were much better!

We weren't really hungry for dessert, but we took them to go. I had a sundae that I ended up throwing out because I didn't really want it and it was melting in the cup. And BJ had the Celebration Cheesecake, which I helped myself to eating most of.

After the Sci Fi we hung out at Hollywood Studios, and BJ got to meet the Power Rangers. He was prepared and wearing his Red Ranger Tshirt

disney2010306.jpg

The Power Rangers were really into him and his shirt. The photopass photographer took a ton of pictures too. While I was standing there waiting for him to get his picture taken the woman behind me in line with her two little boys said to me "How old is he?" and I said "He is going to be 21 in April" She laughed and told her husband that he was almost 21! :lmao:

After the power rangers we hung around until it was time for the Block Party Bash! After securing our seats I decided I wanted a pretzel. I forgot to take a picture because I had eaten most of it by the time I walked back to where BJ was seated :rolleyes1

We decided that we would go back to the hotel for awhile to relax before returning to see Fantasmic! We ate dinner at Everything Pop

I had the Chicken Penne Alfredo with a cupcake and a bottle of water for later since we had our refillable mugs
disney2010359.jpg

This was terrible. The chicken was fried and greasy, and by the time I had waited for BJ the pasta was cold. The cupcake was very sweet as it had a huge glob of frosting on it.

BJ had the chef's special of the the day which was a flat bread with caramelized onions and shrimp. For dessert he had a cookie and I think he got a Monster Energy drink.

disney2010360.jpg

He said this was good, it looked good, I was jealous that he was enjoying his meal while I was eating cold pasta and greasy chicken. But I had already moved on to the cupcake. The cookie was terrible as well, hard as a rock.
