Eros, do you ever read the papers to get a picture of REAL life, you do realize that's just a movie, right? Between that and The Deer Hunter, I think you should turn the TV off and go get yourself a newspaper, maybe you'll get a real outlook on what REAL life is.

Wonderful post Brenda. At least this is one subject that we agree on 100%.

I'll vent a little myself. Whenever I read something to the effect of "American Soldier's are baby killers" I don't know whether to cry or scream. My husband has dedicated18 yrs of his life to the Air Force (6 active duty, 12 in the AFR) He has never killed a baby (or anyone else)or even fired a weapon except on the firing range. My DH, Brenda, and all other service personal put their lives on the line to protect the right of those who would verbally attack them. This seems like such an injustice to me.

For the first part, yeah OK.

The second part....read a book. I hardly doubt a Mel Gibson movie is anywhere close to reality. Although I'm sure you think it's quite impressive that you can lead people down the aisles of Blockbuster.
