My First DDE Experience....Updated!!

Well, we're down at WDW for the weekend, and used our DDE email last night at Flying Fish for our inaugural experience.

There were 3 in our party, and our discount totaled $19.48, including the discount on the tax!!

Our outings today will include Chefs de France and Citrico's tonight- both with parties of 3.

We might just make our membership fee back in our first trip!!

We're back from WDW, and our first DDE weekend, and our total savings for the weekend was...... $53.66!!

So- this will be a benefit to us, as we like to do one sit down (minimum) per visit.

We've just about made back our membership fee with the first use, and DH is REALLY pleased with the experience!!

I know our card will get a hefty workout this April - Thanks for the review with figures - that's encouraging.
How many meals did you use it for to come up with the total savings for the weekend? We are also a party of 3 in April for 8 days of some pretty major dining. According to my guesstimates, I should be paying off the card & saving money halfway thru the trip.

We had dinner at Flying Fish on Friday, Lunch at Chefs de France on Saturday and Dinner at Citrico's on Saturday night.

DH and I split entrees at Flying Fish and Citrico's, and all in all did pretty well (I thought).

I'm glad to hear that the DDE is turning out to be such a great deal for you. I have a feeling it's going to work out very nicely for those who visit often (or for extended stays) and enjoy sit-down meals regularly. Thanks for sharing your experience so far!

Just the discount at breakfast each morning at Pop Century added up nicely after 7 days! And you get it off the mugs too!
