I stumbled on my actual first camera today- a Circa 1950's Argus C4. I used it quite a bit when I was a teenager (it was 30 years old then :rolleyes1 ) It's kind of grimey from being chunked on a bookshelf at my parents house since probably the last time I touched it 20+ years ago. Thought I might clean it up, check it out, and give it a try.

Nice macro's, Jeff. I still have *my* first camera, from the mid 60's, a Kodak Instamatic 104. In addition, I have my dad's Argus C44, and a couple of additional lenses. Pretty low-tech these days, but back in the 50's, when it was new, it was a real gem!

great shots! it's a fairly decent rangefinder. i haghly recommend you give 'er a go with some film!

Missing from the collection is my all time favorite 35, a Fujica ST-801.
