Well, we just returned from a 14 day trip that included Cocoa Beach, Hard Rock Hotel and 8 nights at a 2bedroom dedicated at BCV. We bought BCV last May unseen after we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. There were good and bad points to this visit, although they were all very personal and unique to our family. After having stayed at Wilderness Lodge, I really wanted to purchase there, but at the time, it was not available through Disney and I was very unknowledgeable about resales, etc. We stayed at BCV but my heart was really at Wilderness Lodge and I felt like I got my seasons mixed up-Like BCV would have been perfect for our May visit and Wilderness lodge better for this trip-Oh Well! Our villa was clean and nice-We loved the setup. We had room 433 with two queens in the second bedroom, I really had decided that I didn't care about a view and I really didn't have much of one-it overlooked a quiet path which was fine. The only dirty thing I noticed was the bench in the kitchen was filthy with stains-I would be embarassed if something in my own home looke like this. But we really never used it all week so we just ignored it. My water obsessed/swim crazy 10 year old did not like SAB-Go figure-I thought I would have to drag him away but he was much more into the theme parks, especially Magic Kingdom.
Now for the hard part, We're not really sure if we want to keep our membership. I've learned from these boards that it's not as easy to trade or book other resorts a the seven month window. We've found BCV to not be our "favorite" as far as theming goes. Also, I'm changing careers soon and becoming a teacher and will only be able to go to Disney at peak times. Add to that, my husband and I are very Disneyed out and want our next few vacations to be at Hawaii or elsewhere. I'm not rushing into any decisions as it is easy to be burnt out after a 14 day vacation, but I am concerned with trading and the ability to book at the 7 month window.
