my first bbq with the bad eye

o k todays the day, i am about to go rub down 2 slabs of ribs and a section of brisket and get them started in the oven, i know i cant handle 8 hours of the smoke from the pit so we are cheating, and as soon as dw/chauffer (sic) gets up i will have to get her to drive me to grocery store so i can make sauce gotta go get all the secret goodies havent made sauce in so long i hope i remember the blends wish me luck my reputaion is on the line here am weell known around here as a sauce maker and outdoor cook

I bet it's like riding a bike, once you start making the sauce, you'll know how to do it. So, any chance you have room for some extra people at the ol' dinner table? We love barbecue.

Maybe I should start driving south and sniff for a wonderful bbq smell.

Hi Froggy,
I told my kids and DH all about you and your experience and they are really cheering for you! I have to tell this but I hope you take it in the good spirit of which I heard it. We would NEVER want to hurt your feelings.
When we went to the grocery store yesterday the 6 year old said (as we were backing out of the driveway): "does everybody have their seatbelts on cuz it would sure HURT if your eyelid fell off!"

Our kids have always had their seatbelts on but I don't think they will ever be tempted to NOT wear one EVER again
Maybe you could incorporate a bumper sticker in with your book.
You are their new hero!

Our 9 yr old DD who we happen to call FROG-GIRL, has 6 frogs as pets. She wants to know if you would like any pictures of them?
They are have very different personalities.
Hmmm... can I remember all their names?: Sticky, Mickey, Winkey, Walt, Beans, and Mary-Bev.
Sticky is our favorite, he likes to have his picture taken. He is very happy and serene.

We were all just hoping that your BBQ turned out well and that you had a good day working on it.
