My FE~ opinions please

Hi Everyone!
As you all know I have been working on these since November. They are now done to the point of being able to show them.
The post after this will be the photos.
What they actually are are cd/dvd holders.
I covered the outside and added Eyeletoutlet Quicklets to hold the ribbon/tie in place.
The inside left hand side could be used for a photo.
The last photo will be the journaling card which is hide inside the left hand side.
All the Mickeys were cut by the cricut.
Right hand side has a sleeve where one could place photos/dvd/cd.
I found those cute buttons at Michaels on clearance.
Except for the silver I tried to stay true to the DCL colors, Red, black, yellow, blue and white (some gold and then the silver).

What does it need. I could give everyone a blank cd/dvd. DH is a librarian and will not do any music or such because of copyrights. Its a principle thing more than anything else so thats out. (Hes not even crazy about the kids making cds for each other.)

OH! The 10 stands for the year on the front and I just liked the charmed letters from the cricut. And I used as much lime green as I had.

Does it need a photo or an explanation or maybe even nothing?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Would you like to recieve this as a gift if you were on our cruise?

Those are great, Rita! I think a blank DVD is a great idea. Someplace to put all those photos everyone is going to be taking!

Holly - FE is a Fish Extender. It's this thing you hang outside your door (off a brass fish), and DIS people leave gifts for you.

Thank you Ladies! I think this means by your nice words that I dont need to add anything to them!
I did try to keep track of how long theyve taken me and I think I stopped counting at over 20 hours.
MJ~ scrapping is very addicting! But I LOVE it! Check out some of the sites over here for GREAT ideas!
PO3~an "FE" is a Fish Extender. Outside your cabin door they have these "fish" wher the stewards will leave messages, notices etc. People started making hangers with pockets and started a type of secret santa gift exchange a couple of years ago and it just went from there. Its alot of fun!
If you go to the DCL cruise thread and look for Fish Extenders people have posted photos of their FEs and their "loot".
Some of the FEs are amazing and some of the handmade gifts are too!

If I were so lucky to get one in an FE exchange I would use it onboard for little items I collected to scrap when I got home - napkins, luggage tags, etc.

I was worried because I didnt make them specific to my cruise with the cute logo. I thought that if someone wanted to they could take the Mickey head off and change the year.
Also, in case anyone is interested we have a DCL swap coming up and I did make extras, just in case

So if I include the blank dvd/cd should I put a note with it? I havnt decided on that part yet, not the cost of the cd but trying to keep that baggage cost down!

Those are fabulous. Will you be selling them? I do a family DVD after each trip and those would be so much nicer than the white envelope I'm keeping ours in.
