I passed off my box to our mailroom at lunchtime...so it's on it's way. A short ride south of here.

I was going to include tissues, since there might be some tears when reading, but I taped up the box before I got a travel pack.

VERY embarrased. I Ordered from Powells' and they delayed shipment. Problem was I had never ordered and shipped to a different address through them before. Sorry! I followed up on Monday and they said it was all clear, went to track it today and... It is now cleared up.

I am exhausted! I have spent most of the day shoe shopping with Carol trying to find something to go with her gold colored formal. Now if we needed silver shoes, that wouldn't be a problem. Almost all the gold shoes had either 3" heels or had cork soles. Being 14, she really wasn't thrilled about teetering around on spike heels. We finally found a pair of cute flats at Kohl's. They aren't as fancy as she would have liked but will likely wear them more than once. I told her that since her dress was floor length, her shoes wouldn't need to make as much of a statement as they would if she had a shorter dress.

I go Beloved Enemy by Jane Feather. She also sent some bracelets, a wobble, fruit chews that my kids loved, a small teddy bear, which DD immediately took, and a sweet postcard!

I have not yet read this author, so I am looking forward to starting the book, it is a big book, 509 pages long and I love long books!
