My Father Day trip Pre trip.

First of all let’s say I have been fortunate the past 2 years. July 2004 I had a convention down in Orlando and I was able to squeeze a few days in at the parks. September 2005 because of this great board we went down for 6 days for the free dining and it was a rememberable trip with my parents who are getting up in years. Fast Forward now till April of this year. My wife comes home from work and says they have announced the time and location of this year convention and you will never guess where. It is your favorite place and favorite hotel. I guessed Disney and then I said Grand Floridian? No it is at the Dolphin. Would you like to go? Silly question who would say no? We live in Ohio and my 3 boys moved to Texas 4 years ago and it has been hard on me. When my oldest (my 20 year old) got wind of this he suggested if I pay some towards this can I go too? Talked to my wife, she suggested well if he goes then you’re 16 year old must go. My middle son is on non speaking terms with me, that is another story. My wife suggested that we will be arriving Fathers day weekend that will be my gift. Bless her soul I will be with most of my family for Father’s day in 6 years. What a present any Father can have. It was stressful with less than 3 months to prepare but I managed to get it done.
