My FastPass+ windows opens at midnight tonight

I was really nervous booking my FP+ as well but it ended up being way easier and less stressful than I thought it would be. I just made sure I was online and making my highest priority FP+ first. After everything was set, then I went back and adjusted times. I've actually even been adjusting times right up until yesterday (going mid-April). I was surprised that even 1.5 weeks ago there was still availability for 7DMT on a Saturday - granted I was looking at booking for later times though.

My FP+ times totally vary depending on which park we want them for (we're hopping a fair amount). I'm basically not counting on a 4th FP+ at all. If we end up at a kiosk with minimal wait, of course we'll see about booking something but I'm not going to stand in line for 20 minutes to avoid standing in line for 30 somewhere else.

Good luck!

Well just finished up and even landed an Anna and Elsa FP. Not telling my daughter about it until right before the FP is due. She thinks I would never waste a FP on a meet and greet. For the most part I never would, but I know how much she will appreciate this one.

The main problems I ran into was lunch. There just seemed to be no way to work around that without losing the opportunity for a 4th FP. I don't want to use a FP at 9am and I want to eat at 11ish but the FPs really don't give me that window so we will have to eat during the busy time.

For example, on our first MK day my fastpasses are...
Space 10:35-11:35
Splash 11:35-12:35
Thunder 12:40-1:40

My touring plan for that day is to knock out Fantasyland by 11pm then hit Space. If the line for Buzz is short enough hit that too. Then move on to Fronteirland for Splash and Thunder. AT that point we will secure our 4th FP and then just go into casual mode and take it easy for a few hours. Maybe even go back to the resort for a bit. Not seeing where to put lunch in there other than waiting for our afternoon lull but that is when everyone else is also eating.

AFter all of this thinking, I am beginning to wonder if it just makes more sense to get all the AM rope drop touring done and schedule the FPs for mid to late afternoon and forget about getting a 4th FP. Of course, that means a LOT more waiting in line in the evening.

I was very disappointed to see that Pirates will not be operational during our visit. That has always been a MUST DO ride for me.

I made mine last night, too. It wasn't too bad, I went with the rope drop strategy, and scheduled most of our fastpasses late morning, early afternoon. The only day I had a little trouble with was our arrival day, Sunday 31st...we always hit MK first, and I know they close early that night, but I was surprised that they only had Space Mountain fastpasses available until 2:30...nothing later...We'll just have to hurry over as soon as we arrive.
And same here, sad about Pirates :(
Happy Planning!

Yeah, I was really disapointed that MK was closing early that day. We decided to make that the Downtown Disney and DisneyQuest day. I set up some late FPs at Epcot for that night and we will watch Illuminations instead.

In this example, I think your FPs are perfectly timed for an 11:00 lunch. Go to your Space FP right at 10:35. Head from there toward Adventureland and pick somewhere in that vicinity to eat. Finish by 12:20 or so and head to your Splash FP, go straight from it to Big Thunder. You've hit all the mountains with a minimum of clock watchng, had an early lunch before big crowds, and are well placed to look for 4th+ Fastpasses. Great plan!

Yeah, I suppose maybe I am looking at it with too much planning. My main issue is how fast we can knock out fantasy land at RD. I need to look at my past plans and see what order I generally hit everything. If I can get out of FL before 10:30 then you are right, the plan would shape up pretty darn well.

ok, I went in to move my times around a bit with my FP's and some late afternoon times became available for Space Mountain, so now I'm happy! :)))

FWIW, we usually have all of Fantasyland done by around 10:00. We do skip Barnstormer and the Teacups, but we do all the other rides. Typically our pattern is:
Peter Pan
Pooh (usually twice, so it stands in for Barnstormer)
Dumbo
Meet Ariel (sometimes)
Little Mermaid
IASW
And then we ride 7DMT with a FP+ around 10:00.

We skip ETWB in the morning since it takes so long and its wait times have normalized and you can do it with pretty much a short wait most of the day.

We usually head to Haunted Mansion after that, but you could double back through Fantasyland to head to Tomorrowland instead.

I made our FP+ ressies right at midnight one evening last week. It was a fairly easy process, and it was easy to tweak the times after I made the FP+. Everything was available, however we had no interest in A&E so can't say whether that was available to me or not. I chose to get FP+ for middle of the day since I figure mornings will be shorter queues anyhow. Under the old FP system I went to great lengths to amass as many as I could; now it is just not my highest priority to get the maximum number of FP+.

I take it that Dumbo is no longer a must do first attraction like it used to be.

Thanks for sharing your pattern. It is almost identical to mine with a couple differences. But mine were out of date anyway so I'll try yours out now.
