My family needs pixie dust :(

After 14 years of marriage my husband has decided he is unhappy and no longer wants to be married. We are telling our children (DS8 & DD6) tomorrow morning. I am heartbroken and devastated. Please send prayers and pixie dust especially for our kids. Thanks Friends - near and far.

My daughters will be dealing with the same thing. I am going through a separation as well, although this was my decision. We might be moving out of our house in a week or two. It's hard, especially during the holidays, but they'll get through it. My best wishes for you and your children.

I'm so sorry. I've been in your shoes and it hurts sooo bad. My boys were 10 and 6 when their father decided he was better friends with my "best friend" than I was .I thought my world had crashed and I would never be happy again. Family and friends helped me thru and one day I smiled again. Your children will have good days and bad days and sometimes they will even blame you because we always lash out at the one who is there. But one day you will find yourself forgetting for just a minute why you were so unhappy. Your children will learn to live with the new way of life even if they don't really like it. If you are truly blessed one day you will meet a new love. I did and we have been married almost forever now. We were also blessed with a beautiful DD who spins our world around with her sweet smile. Just concentrate on getting thru one day at a time and letting your heart heal a little. If you need to SCREAM at someone sometimes PM me - I don't mind.
