Hi, everyone. I came home late on Monday evening. While I was on vacation in Walt Disney World, my company had another layoff. I was fortunate in that my job was spared; however, I was placed into a new group within the company. I'm very nervous about it and hope it works out.
My dessert party at the Grand Floridian Resort was wonderful. The folks at the Grand really know how to throw a party. I didn't sit down once and only had the time to take two spoonfuls of their decadent Snow White's Apple dessert. I must state for the record that the dessert was truly to die for. And just wait until you hear how our servers were attired. It was such a fun little party that ended with a viewing of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party fireworks.
My Fairy Tale Weddings vow renewal ceremony and dinner party were magical. It will be fun to share details of those events with you folks. Until I have time to begin posting, let me mention the following
The evening began for my wedding party with a Grand Floridian trolley (golf cart) ride from the resorts porte cochere to the Wedding Pavilion. As our trolley rounded a corner, my sister stated out loud, "Cue the moon." I looked up and saw a gorgeous full moon floating in the evening sky. Then I noticed a trail of moonbeams that were being reflected upon Seven Seas Lagoon. My breath was taken away. I don't know how Disney did it, but that moon was special ordered for my 20th wedding anniversary, ~sigh.~ Fast forward quite a few hours... My dinner party ended with a custom fireworks display that was created just for my husband and me. We actually picked the song that was used, and Disney's pyrotechnics folks picked the fireworks that were synchronized to it. It was an incredible way to end the evening.
October 26th and October 27th were days that I will never, ever forget. The Disney magic is alive and well and living inside of my heart.
