My experience in Trading Cheap Pins

I just received some Disney pins that I purchased from a seller on eBay. These pins are definitely cheaply made and are no where near the quality of my other Disney pins. Will I have a problem trading these at the parks? They have the @Disney on the back but they are so thin and lightweight.

Hope I haven't bought some useless pins??????

Any ideas?

They may be from europe and be made by sedesma. they're not as nice quality as your park pins here, but they're perfectly tradeable. You can check out pinpics.com to see if your pins are listed there. It should give you a bit more info.

Well I just got back from Disney and wanted to let everyone know what happened when I tried to trade the "cheap pins". The pins I purchased on ebay are very thin and lightweight. Most of them are black on the back and have a black edging. These pins did have the @Disney on the back but I understand these are the European pins. You can definately tell the difference between these pins and the official Disney pins.

Numerous times I had CMs tell me they would not trade these pins. Several told me they were plastic but it was very obvious they are metal. Several made negative comments when I tried to trade them but they did eventually trade with me. It was "hit or miss" whether it was going to be a pleasant experience. Acouple times one CM would take the pin to another CM and the second CM would tell them to trade the pins - it kind of got embarrassing.

So to eliminate anymore unpleasant pin trading experiences, especially when I go with my granddaughter in December, I will check the ads very carefully on eBay before I buy.

So eBay pin buyers, BEWARE.
