My envelopes are done!

I have my daily envelope done with cash and or vouchers in them. The front lists the plans for the day and PS #'s. The only problem is I have some cash leftover so I probably shorted an envelope. A good hint is don't seal them until you double checksed!

Now I need to find where to store the Park Hoppers.

I do this too! When the money is gone for the day, that is it. Except that DH usually has his CC with him. I try to hide those things.

Currently I only have the envelops marked with where the money is going - hotel each day, each meal, souvenirs, etc. As we get closer to deciding when we're going I want to enhance the envelopes with the daily itinerary and other details.

WOW, what a great idea. Why didn't I think of this. This is how my mother does her budget. Duh. I am going to steal your idea also. I tend to over spend when we are on vacation. I am not going to use my credit card at all this trip. Except for our car rental. I bought 14 quick and casual vouchers and 3 breakfast vouchers. So all i have to do is buy the other meals. We are going to LTT for one meal and the rest are going to be cheap meals. For the 3 of us. I am only bring 1000 dollars. When the bank is closed so arent we. I think that will give us pleanty of money for our 7 night trip. What do you all think? We are only buying our resort mugs and no extra's.

Do you stash the receipts in them?

Where do you keep them all througout the trip to keep tabs on it?

Raggedy--that's $333 per person for 7 days when about 4 meals and 1 breakfast pp is already covered.

That comes out to $47 per day...figuring $5-$10 for breakfast, $10-$12 for lunch, and the same for dinner except LTT which would be closer to $30pp.

So you figure--6 breakfasts at $10, 9 meals not covered by vouchers at $12, LTT meal at $30-- That is only $198 for meals--that leaves about $100 or so depending on how conservative the meals are for souvenirs and other activities (video games, mouse boats, etc).

I think we will be fine. My husband will be eating for 3 days with the convention. I am not buying anything this year. My son will have his birthday money. He can spend it as he pleases. I don't think he will be buying much either. I really don't eat all that much. I pick, so i will be fine. All my son eats for breakfast is a bagel and cream cheese. I will be fine on a cup of fruit or a bagel.
If i am short of cash i will have my credit cards, but i am going to try hard not to use them. I found out about this trip 2 months ago. my sons birthday is the first of October and christmas is around the corner. So we had to make a plan. Cut things out. I would rather be in disney than buy things i won't use again.
I checked out all the menu's on all ears and i think we are going to be ok.

We are actually taking things back with us. The mist fan, poncho's, my son bought a hat from mgm. A bunch of things. I am packing alot of my disney clothes.

I use the regular size envelopes (long ones) can't think of the measurements right now.

I store them in the safe in our room. Before leaving home I put the cash or travelers checks, GCs, and vouchers that I’ll need for the day in an envelope. Each envelope is dated and the plans and PSs for the day are listed on the front.

I’m sure many people will think this is a bit much but I love all of the planning that goes into our trips.
