My ebay rant.. I'm heartbroken

Op I just wanted to let you know how beautiful your work is!! I had never heard of quilling before.

I agree with giving her neg feedback and stating the facts. I think your honesty will shine thru this.

Just adding, I looked at your work and it is truly beautiful, well done on having such a great talent. :goodvibes
Was the buyer blind?

You made those by hand? They are beautiful! I think you are dealing with a psycho here. Some sort of Scammer. I would definitely look into it. Is there someone you can report her too? Who knows who is giving her the rave reviews. Probably friends and family.

I think its just beautiful. Im so sorry about your experience with this buyer though..

Beautiful work!
I feel for you, my son sells on E-bay and I hear stories from him about people being nasty. On the whole people are nice..........don't give up!

Kelly, your pieces are unbelievable!!!! Even my 13yo son thought they were AWESOME, and he's not easy to impress, LOL!!

Definitely go into your account and respond to her feedback with a brief explanation. And then DEFINITELY leave that psycho negative feedback after what she did to you!!

I hope you can get things resolved quickly through Paypal, and maybe she'll even get a clue and agree to retract her negatives.

Good luck!!

that is terrible...I am soo sorry, I would also GIve her 2 negatives and Just say that she didnt Try to contact you prior...then maybe shell have your 2 removed and realize how hasty she was at applying them...
good luck*

She also left BAD feed back for Vantor73

FALSE ADVERTISING! $43 book turned out to be tiny, flimsy leaflet more like card

But, looks like Vantor73 retracted leaving the 'ice queen' with a perfect 100% feedback.

ps, you are not the only 1 she has negged recently...so far shes going on 4 in the very short past....boo hoo to her..and again good luck

Don't forget in addition to factually explaining that she it a NUTCASE in your feedback for her to respond to the feedback she left for you. You get 2 chances to show you are a good seller and she is a nut job. :)

I agree I would leave her a double neg feedbacks. Also you have the tracking number plus the item was insured I think you would win the paypal case. Just make sure you make all contact with paypal when they email you. They will and you will have to give them the delivery confirmation number and your explination that the items were packaged well the what happend with the refused on the package. Keep all packaging..Your work is beautiful shame on that person. :surfweb:

can I get the feedback retracted? That would be GREAT! thanks for the input!
Yes, you can have the feedback retracted, BUT there's a cost: her negative feedback also is retracted, which means she can do these same things to another person in the future.

The comments made will remain on your feedback sheet, but the numbers will not figure into your "score".

Something similar happened to me last year: A seller was horrible to me, then when I left honest feedback for him, he zinged me with an undeserved negative (I'd paid quickly, and my only "crime" was emailing him after weeks went by to demand that he send my expensive item!) . . . then he offered to "mutually withdraw negative feedback". It's part of the game to some of these people; they give you a negative in hopes that you'll be so desperate to regain your 100% that you'll be willing to remove their negative. I refused because I wanted his well-deserved negative to stay there for other people to see. Future buyers need to know that he's dishonest; if it helps someone else, the little ding in my score was worth it (but then I'm not a seller, only a buyer).

As a result, I look more closely at feedback now. If a person has 1-2 negatives (out of a field of positives), I figure that they had a run-in with a psycho-eBayer like I did.

You have another weapon though: you have your emails, which prove your side of the story. I know you can report a dishonest person to eBay -- can someone else tell how?

First off they are beautiful, I can tell how much work went into them. Second fire of negative feedback then follow up with ebay and paypal with your paperwork, they should side with you based on insuring the shipping, etc.

I am so sorry this happened to you.... your work is amazing.

I would definately for now go into YOUR Feedback and make a comment about her feedback ...

SOmething like
"please check this buyers other Feebacks - obviously gives negatives as a hobby"
or
"buyer did not want to pay, instead of completing the transaction, gave negative with no reason"
or
"don't let this wacko fool you! Buys just to steal ideas and then complains to get money back!"

Good luck to you!

I'm fairly new to ebay...the feedback system can be such a mind game. I once had a winning bidder that had given quite a bit of negs. I just sent her the product quickly and hoped for the best (she gave me a nice pos feedback). As long as my description is detailed and truthful I feel good...I think potential buyers can do a little research and make a decision about any prior negs/situations. As pp stated...Neg her and just leave the facts. I like to see just facts in response to negs...not emotional/personal responses.

I've tried quilling in the past and it was very time consuming (it's probably kind of comical to watch me with little swirls of paper flying all over the place)...Your chess set is unbelievable!! A deal at $100!

Good luck!

I like this! If I saw this, I would definitely take a minute to click "feedback left for others", and that'd be enough to steer me away from psycho-eBayer.

I agree, your work looks great! We have had trouble selling on ebay too. people like to win auctions but they don;t like to pay. go figure. I'd keep doing shows and maybe a consignment shop or two. Do house parties maybe. They look like they would make great gifts.Good luck!

So I emailed her back and asked that she return it.It was insured so I know that I can file a claim if it's truly damaged.

If it's insured and she's claiming it's damaged, don't let her send it back. It voids the insurance and the USPS won't pay a thing.
