We've finally ordered my engagement ring and I'm so excited!! :Pinkbounc

It's not a traditional ring, and Aquamarine is not my birthstone, but I just really loved it. It's very simple, and old-fashioned looking. I like that the color is so subtle.

(And to those that remember my thread: "Diamond, is that with a D or a Z?" , you will be happy to know that, yes, it is real ;) )

That's my ring. I didn't want a traditional diamond. I absolutely love my e-ring. It fits my personality. And it wasn't my birthstone either, I'm in January - Garnet. I love your ring its beautiul.

Beautiful ring!!! Traditionally, aquamarine is supposed to be a good stone for marriage. It's supposed to calm and soothe during "the storms of marriage." I think it's a fragile stone, so be careful!!! :wave2:

That's gorgeous :0)

One question though... how's it gonna sit next to your wedding band? That was my big condern when I picked out my ring so it's a slender band with three diamonds the same width...

Thank you all so much!! :cloud9:

KT27 - Your ring is beautiful!!! :lovestruc

RosieJo - We're going to have two bands made that will match the band on the e-ring and will fit behind the center stone. The only thing I'm not sure of is if I want it to be all diamonds, or if I should alternate stones with the diamonds & aquamarines.
(Why two bands, you ask? Well, I have this thing with symmetry. I guess you could call it OCD  LOL Crazy, I know, but true)

Don't worry Codie, I was thinking the same thing at first until I realized that it was short for an engagement ring! Lol, but don't worry, your not alone!

OF COURSE!! I thought so, but then I was confused because of the colored stones and one of the other posts. I didn't want an all diamond e-ring :) but my dh2b seems to think it is the only way to go! My only objection was the cost (otherwise I'm happy either way), so I guess I'll deal :flower:

This is the closest ring I could find to my actual ring. It is perfect for me. When my fiance and I started talking about getting married, he asked me to go on a site like www.bluenile.com and show him exactly what kind of ring I would love since I will be wearing it for the rest of my life. So here it is, the only difference is that my ring tapers in slightly when it gets closer to the diamond to make it appear larger (even though it already is a good size for me!) and accentuate the diamond more. I love it so much!

PrincessChrysty, where are you getting your ring from? I forgot to say how beautiful it is, then again, aquamarine is my birth stone and I love diamonds, so how could I not love it! :goodvibes

Thank you :flower: I'm getting it through a friend I work with. Your ring is beautiful! Princess cut is what I had always had my heart set on, but I'm left handed and having a stone that's set higher would be hard for me because I'd always be hitting it on stuff. So I guess this ring will have to do. ;) LOL

This is my ring....I'm surprised I found a pic of it online! :goodvibes

Beautiful rings! I don't have an e-ring yet, but here's the ring that my fiance got for me for my xmas/23rd b-day gift that turned into a "pre e-ring"

I Love your ring Chrysty. I understand what you mean about the symetry. I made sure my wedding band was a wrap around for that reason. I'm kind of picky about odd suff like that too.

This is a picture of my ring. The designer is Scott Kay. I know it's a little hard to see the detail, but it's the only picture I have.
