My dog thinks he is a person... (picture)

My dog is a weirdo.

Chris was sitting back watching TV tonight , just a few minutes ago, and all of a sudden he tells me to come look at Monty Dog.

Monty is sitting next to him, well, like the way a person would sit. He just stayed like that for a while. It was bizarre. I caught it on my digital camera. Maybe Monty just thinks he is a little person and was trying to sit the way Chris was sitting?? I dunno...

Tell me my dog is not weird... He's actually still there, and he's paying attento the tv. I mean Monty is really focused on the tv...

Well, I'm not sure if that is weird or not for a dog......nonetheless, he sure is cute

My cat is like this as well. She will at times sit propped up against a pillow on the floor (no couch right now) looking as if she is watching TV.

It's like they think, "This is how mommy and daddy do it, let me do it that way too!"

LOL! My Lab does that, but he usually has his back propped up against my side and shoulder and he stares off into space somewhere. What I really think my dog is doing is trying to push me off the sofa!

Dogs are pack animals. You and your DH are his pack. He thinks he is one of you now. Either that or your DH will start lapping water out of a dish.

My dog Nicki, who is as cute as Monty and Max, was sitting like that today too. She was watching the WNBA game on TV. She likes Nicki McCray and was wearing a WNBA Build-A-Bear jersey.

Aren't dogs great?!

LScot, that is SO cute! I was in Build a Bear yesterday and I was thinking....hmmmm these would fit Monty dog!

Our dog does the same thing...except, she has her own Lay-Z-Boy in the living room (she's not allowed on the 'new' furniture...sometimes she listens)...but the Lay-Z-Boy recliner is all hers (and all covered in dog hair)...she strikes some pretty interesting positions on that chair!
