My DLRP nail art creations.

I'm a little over excited about how I do my nails for holiday.

And for this trip I've made some special nail art.

Just hope they look as good on my nails!

Probably just going to do thumbs and big toes, but I wanted to give myself room to get some wrong.

Torsie i have just read your Trip report from your Wedding and Disneymoon - it was so lovely and had me in tears many times it was so beautiful and you had such an amazing time.

Like you i am a Disney addict, we had a Disneymoon back in 2004 when we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel in Paris. I would have loved to have a Disney wedding as well however unfortunately they do not do them in Paris.

I was always intending on visiting Disneyworld someday but after reading your trip report it has made it seem so much more magical. It must have cost a fortune!

Have a wonderful time in DLRP we will be there again in just over a month for my 12th visit!!!!!!!!! It never gets boring.

Aw Torsie I absolutely love them!

I am presuming you print them onto some kind of transfer paper? How clever of you. Would love to know how to do them please .

My DD1 (and I, lol) would love those for our nails - agree thumbs would look nice! She has just stopped biting her nails (she has just turned 7). It has taken amazing willpower and so I am sooo proud of her. So, now every chance she has asked for nail varnish and I so have allowed it within reason - school disco/parties after hunting for some child friendly/light coloured nail polish.

You just have to get some special paper and some acrylic spray.

Then I measured and photoshopped the images.

Let me check that they actually work when I do my nails later, and then I'll put more photos and happily do some for you all.

I'm a guy so I don't know any thing about doing nails. I love the idea and will pass it on to the DW. But just a quick thought (and I may be wrong) but won't the text be backwards when you transfer it to the nails?

revroy - if they are like normal nail transfers then no, the back stays as the back so they go on as shown....

No - you slide the transfer off the backing and then put it on your nail.

I triple checked that before printing!

I've never thought or knew you could make them yourself! That's so clever and you've done a really magical job! Am sure they will get noticed when you're in DLP

I haven't used nail transfers since I was at school but I could be persuaded by Disney ones!!

You should make and sell them on eBay!

I've had a practice go to see how they look on a very strong colour nail polish:

The yellow of the tiara got a bit lost. So I think I'll definitely have to do I only black on darker shades. So I'll do my toes bright punk with black mickeys and will buy a baby pink/lilac for my fingers tomorrow unless I can find one light enough in my box.

I did think it would look great on a lighter colour but looks great on the hot pink too.

Oh they are so cool!!! I can't wear nail varnish in my job so hardly ever wear it but I love the idea!!
