As per usual, I am doing things in a weird timeline (like when we booked the wedding before we got engaged). But now FINALLY I can get excited about our Disneymoon at the end of June.

DH is not a huge parks person (but he is officially a Disney-liker after the wedding. A step in the right direction). I am trying to make this trip special and romantic, because we probably wont be going back until we have children.

Here is what we have planned so far, we are staying at AKL Kidani Village- I have never stayed there before and we both really love Animal Kingdom. We are also booked at Le Cellier (because we couldn't get in during our wedding trip).

Here are some things I am thinking about:
Backstage Animal Safari Tour" (I did it as a teenager and remember really liking it).
Couples Massage
Special Dinner (We did the sweetheart dinner at CG on our wedding night- are there any other dinners like this? or equally romantic?)
When I was planning my wedding floral, Rosie said I could have something done in the room- but I wouldnt even know where to begin with that
Renting boats at one of the resorts?

Any other suggestions? Or comments on what I have suggested?

Not sure what your budget is for the romantic dinner but V&As would be awesome for you.

For the flowers for the room go to www.disneyflorist.com they have some really great packages, many have really nothing to do with flowers, I like the champagne ones myself.

That's all I've got for now...

I was also trying to wrack my brain for unique things to do on our honeymoon that would be fun and romantic.

We are doing a lot of nice dining, which I think will go a long way to making our trip more luxurious and less running around. However we pretty much stuck to one reservation a day so we didn't have to plan our entire trip around meals. Some things I plan to do are fireworks on the Poly beach (you dont have to be staying there to do this), the surrey bikes at the boardwalk, the Swan boats at the GF, maybe a horse and carriage ride at POR, the Segway tour around Epcot, and breakfast in bed from room service.

I hope you enjoy your Disneymoon!!! :bride: When in June are you going?

IMHO, AKL is the best honeymoon resort. DH and I had so much fun just walking to the different viewing areas looking at the animals, as well as sitting on our balcony watching them.

For restaurants, we both loved Sanaa and Jiko, which are both are convenient for you. When were were there we didn't even notice any children....in fact, the second night we went to Jiko we figured we were the youngest people there :lmao:

By far my favourite thing was the Waynama Safari, which is exclusive to AKL/AKV guests @ either lodge. It is $170 pp, but it includes a 1.5 hour safari tour around Kidani and Jambo (and you get extremely close to the animals) and an AMAZING family style meal at Jiko, where you get to try nearly the full menu, and it includes wine pairings for each course.

Another thing that is incredibly romantic is being at MK if it has EMH at night. We got there around 11:30 and there was barley anyone in the park, so you feel like you have it to yourself :goodvibes Plus, it is so pretty with all the lights on, and there is no wait for the photopass photographers to get a lot of pics with the castle!
