Aaaah I am so excited, DH and I are going to Disney Nov 2-6th 2011! 
Let me start off my saying DH and I have gone to Disney for the past four years always for the F&W Festival and Love it! Sadly we were not able to go in 2010 because DH had to deploy to Afghanistan for 1year
Luckily DH has been doing well and safe overseas and I take it one day at a time.
DH is planning on returning home Aug 2011 and I was hoping we would be able to go to F&W 2011 but DH did something AMAZING! He surprised me with a 26day European Trip for Sept 2011!!!!!
I have never been to Europe so I was Shocked and Very Excited! DH said he thought we needed to spend some quality time together after deployment and he thought there would be nothing better then traveling around Europe with one another. I am not going to lie, the idea of spending my 30th birthday in Paris does sound pretty romantic. So the past two months I have been busy studying every Frommers Book I can get my hands on for Paris, Rome, Greece, Turkey and Spain and trying my hardest to learn Italian. Unfortunatly its more like Spatalian because I have a basic understanding of Spanish and some how half way through a Italian sentence I switch to Spanish! Hope that doesnt get me into trouble with the locals?!?
So I have been a Busy Bee researching Europe and imagine my surprise when DH sends me an email asking the F&W 2011 dates!!!! So I casually send him some info about the dates and how my schedule is wide open in Oct and Nov. So what does DH email back....Book it!!!
Aaaaahh so that is when I kick into Super Excitment Mode
Really can I be this lucky to go to Europe for a whole month then 30days later go to the Happiest Place on Earth....this is pure Bliss! So I told DH that I would plan everything and get it booked ASAP.
So this is what we have planned:
We normally stay at the Animal Kindom Lodge and we both have loved it but I threw him a curve ball this time and I have booked the Beach Club-Garden View for Nov 2-6th. I did this because DH and I love Epcot and we plan on spending most of our time there for F&W. The convience of walking 5-10 from Beach club to Epcot sounded perfect. Then I added the DxDP because we can use the snack credits at the F&W and then we can double up the Table Credits and eat at DH's favorite Signature Restaurants like Le Cellier, Cali Grill and Brown Derby. DH also is a big eatier and has been talking non stop about how much food he is going to eat in Europe and at F&W. Goodness he needs to eat about 4-5 meals a day cause he has lost 30lbs so far while on Deployment.
Needless to say I am floating on a cloud and have not been this happy in a few months. I think there is nothing more a Army Wife can ask for then her Soldier home safe and making Wonderful memories Together
