My "Disney" moment

Not that anyone cares, but I've been so negative on these boards lately I thought I'd share something positive.

While going for my local bicycle ride the past two mornings, there has been something in the air which has provoked really strong memories of WDW. The temperature (warm), the humidity and the smell of the grass, trees, flowers etc. all reminded me of DisneyWorld in the fall - my favorite time to visit WDW. I thought that if I just closed my eyes for a second I could imagine I was actually there - then decided this was a bad idea at 35 km/hr on a bike!

Anyhow, I hope to be back in the DW spirit soon. Maybe a March trip is on the horizon.

I've felt the same thing early in the morning recently. I love getting up early at Disney and walking around the Boardwalk while everything is still quiet. I'm not sure if it's the temperature or what, but I've been reminded of Disney lately also. Maybe we're just starting to miss it?

I know exactly what you are talking about. We visited my Mom at her trailer park in Florida several times in the '90s. (Trips to the World were a lot cheaper then, because we just drove over for the day). Anyway, there was always a certain smell about the morning there, and even now, we'll go outside and say "it's a Florida morning" I made that comment just the other day, so maybe it is temperature related.
