The Cast: Me, 22 and DH (Paul), 23
We flew to Disney using American Airlines. This was my first time flying. And let me tell you it was quite an experience. Very Bumpy and Scary. But we did arrive safely. Tiffany Towncar met us at the baggage claim. Very nice person, very chatty. However, the most crazy driver ever. I wasn't sure we were going to make it to the Wilderness Lodge, so I eventually had to just close my eyes.
We arrived at WL around 11:30am on Monday Feb.7th. Check in took quite a while and we were the next people in line
. The CM who checked us in was very nice. They actually had a king sized bedroom ready, so we took it. However, it was on the first floor and you couldn't see much of the courtyard view that we'd paid for so we went back to the desk and got a room on the 5th floor. It was very nice and had a decent view.
We decided to go eat at the WC Cafe. Our waiter was Mike. Luckily he didn't bug us too much. I was still kinda motion sick from the plane ride. After we ate we went to the Magic Kingdom. We quickly got on Buzz and my new DH kicked my butt. But it was fun nonetheless. After we got off we began to walk around and the MK was crazy-buzy. I assume it was from the Super Bowl. We went and just walked around, not really riding any rides. Around 5ish we got hungary so we stopped by Casey's Hot Dogs. This was so good. I definately recommend the hot dogs. My DH and I split one and some fries. Next we decided to go back to the WL and take a nap, mainly becasue I was so exhausted. We woke up around 8 and headed for downtown disney. We stopped by the G Ice Cream Shop to get some ice cream. This place was amazing. We had ice cream here 4 times during our trip. Around 11pm we were both so beat we headed back to the hotel for some sleep. When we opened our room we noticed someone had turned down our bed and placed little mints by our pillows. This was so sweet. There was also a autographed picture of Mickey and Minnie wishing us the best. I was so surprised by this.
