My Disney Girl Perfectly Princess Tea Party Review with photos

Like I said, don't flame me. I would not recommend this for a little one. It was disappointing to her that Aurora wasn't in the room the entire tea time.
I would recommend it to a child 5 or older, or a very mature 4 year old.

I think the price is steep. I am thankful my DD provided the opportunity for me to attend. However, to add a child to a reservation is an extra $150. That is $400 for two children and a parent. To add another adult is $75. That is $475 for two adults and two children.

BUt what price do you pay for a memory? Of course, I loved being therewith my granddaughter. But before you criticize, please remember, this was just my review and my opinion.
I wasn't criticizing ... just trying to clarify. Some people will read what you wrote and take it as gospel. Others will look at it more objectively. I had questions, so I was just looking for a bit more detail. Thanks so much for filling in some of the blanks in my head! :goodvibes

Thanks for your review and for sharing your photos. Your DGD is just adorable. princess:

I know that I personally would not enjoy this (I'm a really picky eater! :upsidedow ) but I might send my mum along with my DD - I know they would both love it! :goodvibes I realise that this event sometimes gets lukewarm reviews, but although you found it to be too expensive, it is clear that you enjoyed having the oppurtunity to do this with your DGD, and that is what I think makes it worth spending the $$$ on. :cutie: Plus, my DD is 7 now and won't want to do this kind of thing forever. ;)

Thank you for sharing you experience and the pictures of your adorable DGD. She is such a cute little princess. princess: I had wondered about the tea party too, so this is very informative.

very cute little girl...........but I am SO GLAD I have 2 boys----I would NEVER pay those prices for a tea party. Then again, I am a dad, and would rather eat glass than attend one of those, lol.

:rotfl2: Hilarious! That is probably DH's thoughts. I dragged him to the High Tea at GF and he asked for a diet coke!

Susan, thanks for the review and pictures. Makayla looks so pretty, as usual! I think I would have been disapointed with this too. For that price, I'd be expecting a little more personal attention and character interaction.

The Alice tea party sounds like fun though, and a little better priced!

Thanks Susan!

Oh, you all are so sweet. Thank you for your lovely comments. I just adore my little granddaughter. She is a joy and such a gift from God.

Susan

Thanks for the pics and review. As a mother of a 3 yr old girl, I can say that I would/will most likely attend the tea party with my DD. Not our trip that is coming up but will wait for her to be a bit older so maybe the next. But all I can say is that i would/will pay the $250 for my daughter to have that same look of awe on her face. That is what it is all about isn't it? :lovestruc

Oh, my yes. That look is priceless. The entire event is lovely. The one drawback is that 3 is really young to engage in the entertainment by Rose Bud. We opened the princess tea set we bought at WDW and it is adorable. It has all of the princesses on it. The box also has all of the princesses on it. So we have a lovely keepsake.

I don't have any little ones, and was bored with reading all the political bickering on the CB, so came over here for other type Disney reading pleasure, LOL. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading about your experience, and your GD is absolutely adorable!

Oh, thanks so much. This is a far cry from the political bickering for sure!

Your granddaughter is adorable. :flower3:

We have booked for our DD3 for December. Can you tell me a little more about the Rose Bud entertainment and why you felt it was not quite right for a 3-year-old?

Thanks so much,

Bianca

Rose Bud sings and tells stories. She is very dramatic and goes all around the room. Her entertainment is also long. It isn't like someone reading a story to young children with them sitting attentively. THere is all kinds of activity going on with the staff serving, the children wanting to pour their "tea", eating...it is just a little too much activity for a young child to pay attention. I was so busy trying to watch that Makayla didn't spill anything, and getting her to eat something that I couldn't pay attention to the story either. One of the little girls at our table was 6 and she was right there with the story, and got called up to assist with the story.

Makayla does very well with Playhouse Disney, the little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast in DS. This was just a little too much going on.

But it was a lovely remembrance. So I am happy I did it.
