When I logged in tonight to make a change to a fast pass, my resort reservation was not linked, or my tickets or my fast passes. When I called into tech support they could not explain it. They got my resort back and struggled to get my tickets but told me I'm out of luck on the fast passes that I need to re-book.

Um, ok.

Sent from my IPad using DisBoards.

Not sure what you mean here with um OK. I had not change my reservation or anything but I nothing looked like it was linked. The tech support guy tried several times to link my resort back and finally got it but my tickets were not showing any longer and I have a package deal. So he said give me a minute so I can get someone to help with this and when he came back he said I got your tickets but I don't see your fast passes. This stinks because now some of the times we want fast passes they are not available. I'm also concerned what if this happens again??

That really sucks. I hope those FPs didn't include Anna & Elsa.

Someone else posted a few days ago that they upgraded their dining plan and somehow the tickets on their package were deleted. They fixed that when they called, but were not able to "fix" the missing FPs. Fortunately for them, Disney added a bunch more FP slots on Monday so they were able to find new ones.

This really cannot happen. If their IT system messes up, their IT system needs to have a means to restore lost FPs.

On hold right now. Took me 25 min to get my resort res linked. Now on hold for tech support because not all the ticket holders are showing up UGGG. Going on 30 min phone wait now

Actually it did but it must have done the same to several people in the same time frame because now there are several on the day that I originally had and I got a better time. It is actually working out fine unless I am doing this and it happens again.

Well, that's a relief. There must still be some inventory left from what they added a couple days ago.

And yes, once it happens, I'd probably be paranoid from that point on. Especially since you don't know what caused it this time.

I did ask to speak to a supervisor to see if they knew what happened so I would not be wasting my time. All they said is they did not know and I was not the first and probably would not be the last on this.

It sounds like they have written you off as collateral damage. That's not reassuring.

Yes but when I looked I actually was able to get almost the same fast pass times. I actually got better times on some so I just hope nothing else happens!!!

I am so nervous about this happening with our Anna and Elsa FP. :guilty: I would assume that 99% of the time people get into their meet and greets just fine but I hate that there's that chance and that they won't take a screen shot as proof (though I have it screen shotted anyway just in case...).

Something worth trying and reporting on:

If you made paper printouts (print screens) of your Fastpass reservations while you still had them, would they be honored at the park?

A slightly off topic comment, if Fastpass reservations are sold out before the day of, then that's bad news to begin with.

Back in the old days of paper Fastpasses, when guests had to jump through more hoops (such as send a runner across the park) to get Fastpasses, the Fastpasses didn't get sold out so quickly.

Do your reservations disappear out of MDE? Did you try logging in via the Disney website? Mine all disappeared out of MDE today and I FREAKED OUT!!!! :scared1: I remembered Pete saying on one of the podcasts that he consistently had trouble with the app trying to make changes to FP+ in the parks on the fly, but had much less trouble online. So, I logged on to the Disney website and sure enough, all my reservations, ADRs and FP+ times were there. They really do need to fix this though...I still say a confirmation number for FP+ would be appreciated so that their IT system can at least have something to look up when these things disappear into the great void of MDE app land. :sad2:

My theory, same one I've used for Disney's glitches for the past 4 years.... It's what they get for letting Goofy run their IT dept.

I logged out and in using chrome, ie, firefox on two different PC's. No luck! I did not print them out but I had them in a spreadsheet but they said they could not help at all. I wish you got a confirmation number or e-mail when you select so you at least have proof. We have been working on our schedule for 10 days off and on so at least I knew what I wanted and when I wanted it so all is good for today!

I had this happen to me also. I logged into MDE one day and everything was gone. I called WDW tech and they found my email in their system twice, one with my reservation, one with nothing, same exact email, similar password. So they deleted the email with nothing on it and sent me the email to reset my password on the email with the reservation. It worked! When I signed back into MDE after changing my password, and it was all there! How they had my same email twice, I will never know, but I got it fixed.

The sooner you lower your expectations in the system, the better. Just sayin'. I'm sure it will work great in 3 years or whenever the "testing" phase is over...whichever comes first.:goodvibes
