Please help! I am trying to get things organized in MDE and I am trying to get my entire extended family (there are 7 of us, total, traveling together), but their tickets aren't showing up. The system was able to find their reservation for the hotel, but it isn't linking up their tickets. I wanted to (and they want me to) manage all the ADRs and FP+s. I'll probably have to call WDW to get it straightened out, but I thought I would ask you all, first.

Also, can I set all the reservations I want in MDE before my reservation window opens in 10 days, and then just go in on that date and save everything? How do people organize the actual reserving? I'm going to be jumping on at 6 am to make our reservations, as we are going easter week and I'm expecting things to fill up fast... anything I can do to save myself time that morning would be a gift. TIA.

OP - I don't have any help, I am sorry : ( but my issue is similar so hoping someone can help us both : )
I have a similar issue, I booked our packages last night, and set up my SIL account for her (as she requested) and accepted the friend request email, so now she is showing on my account, but BIL and nephew are not. She she holds the reservation, when our 60 day window opens will I be able to get 6 fastpasses? In her account I can see all 6 of us, should I just make the fast pass+ reservations from her account to be safe?
I made dinner reservations for 6, but I started that before booking the room so I had already created generic accounts for all three of them in MDE so I could create the ressies. Does it matter that they are not linked to BIL and nephew (since I do not seem to have access to their actual tickets etc).
Thanks for any help you can give.

Can't answer everything but here are my observations: I have linked BIL and SIL MDE with mine.. months ago... some times one or the other doesn't show up in MDE. But I was able to make Dining ressies and FP's for us all and change times on FP's as needed. Now DN is coming and I have tried to add her to my Friends and Family list 3x yesterday..not yet sucessful. When you book a package it will take up to 5 days for everyone to show up in MDE.. Hope this helps

I'm not sure what this means. Are you talking about ADRs? You can't really "set" anything ahead of time. On your 180+10 day, you can make your ADRs (either on MDE or website or by phone). Once you book them, then the ADRs will be viewable in MDE. Then you can go in and fill in the names of which guests will be dining.

It is definitely advisable to get your friends/family/tickets/reservations all linked up before making other reservations, especially FPs. When I was planning my first FP+ trip, we had lots of problems (software bugs) getting family/tickets linked up on MDE. The number I called was the Internet Help Desk 407-939-7765, they were always knowledgeable and able to resolve the issues MDE was having.

I'm guessing that BIL and nephew do not have their own accounts, they are "managed" by SIL. In order for you to see them, you will need to do friend requests with them as well. We had lots of difficulty getting all that straightened out (friend requests not received, duplicates in the friend lists). If you can't see all 6 people in your party, you will not be able to do the FP for all 6 of you. I would get BIL and nephew added to your friends list. Then you have the flexibility of making/modifying the FP from either MDE account.

For ADRs, it doesn't matter. You have your reservation booked for 6 people, restaurant doesn't care which 6 show up. You can go into MDE and assign names to the ADRs, but it's not necessary.

This may be simple and not as complicated as you might assume. Prior to your window becoming available, go ahead and have any and all relevant parties with separate Disney accounts link to the administrator of the vacation on MDE. You may not be able to see all linked parties until the window becomes available. If you have everyone linked correctly, all parties should be available on the day the window opens up. I apologize if I have not fully understood your question.

I am traveling with friends (family of 3) but am managing the whole trip. The wife has a MDE account, but the husband and child do not. I had their reservation linked to mine, and was able to link their names to dining reservations, but didn't see their park tickets. So I called and had someone at Disney fix it for me and it took maybe 5 minutes on the phone. I then had no problems getting fp+ for all of us.

We have had to call in the past for this very situation..it's takes very little time but they will help if you call.

@kangamama @kwbrad I had the same challenge with my SIL, her husband and kids. There's a new Disney customer service number that helps with group bookings and can link everything for you. Just have your family's reservations numbers and home addresses available when you call and they can connect everything correctly! Here's the number: 407-939-7771.

Thank you so much for this!

Thanks to all who responded. The information was all helpful :)
