My Disney Experience - FIX IT!!!!!!

I don't think so. I joke around, but I'm pretty quick to pick up computer issues, and it's definitely the site. I've been on the phone with Disney IT and they can't figure it out either, which means more than likely, it's a bug.

I support your view on this. Four phone calls to IT of about four hours combined to sort out issues with my MDE in January and yesterday I log into my account and my 'extra people' are back :headache:

Got a text from my friend this morning who's 60 day window opened for FP+ today. She logged into her account and there is nothing there. Nada. Wiped. Gone.
 
The Dis Podcast did an informal poll and 40% of respondents said the new FP+ system has negatively impacted their stays. That's a huge percentage of a very very popular podcast.

Actually they worded it such that both people who had been and who had not could answer it, so it wasn't just responses of people who have been (but I don't subscribe to the persistent theory that most people who hate it haven't tried it).

The discussion of this topic has been interesting since the fall, especially during the top 10 thread countdowns as FP+/MDE has dominated the boards. In this episode Teresa said "what a bunch of Debbie Downers", and Pete objected to that characterization, saying poll response was fair because the app simply "doesn't work".

I love it. I can see the next PR campaign- "come to Walt Disney World. You will probably survive our new Fast Pass Plus system."

I'm not at our 60 day window yet. All I can say is, God help anyone's virgin ears if that happens to me.:badpc:
 

People are just making I hard on themselves. It is not complicated.
I have not had any issues and it seems really that most people don't

Well there you go! Issue resolved! When I looked at my fast passes last night and they were all gone, that was just ME making it hard on myself!:lmao:

Thank heavens for this board though--I knew to try a different window and edit the FPs and then I could see them. But I don't see what someone with out the benefit of that work around could have done but think their FPs were gone.

Yeah, I think we'd be speaking in the same language if that happened to me too! :rolleyes1

I know you can't let someone else's experiences affect you, but because she's the one friend who actually likes planning (everyone else I know off the DIS likes to wing it) we've been planning together and I am so gutted for her. Hoping she's managed to get hold of IT.

How did you work around that? Can you post a link to a thread so I can pass it on? Since it seems that both myself and my friend are making it very hard on ourselves. I need to break the news that she's worse than me staring at her blank MDE account. No clue what she could have done to it, but it can't possibly be this fantastic system that is clearly not sufficiently idiot-proofed :rotfl:

go.in and.click modify fp and then.hit change and any real fps.will.show on.that screen. Without.seeing what you are seeing that is the best.advice I can offer. Sorry, you are having such.troubles.

try a different browser or just hit reload or log in and out again or try again later as.they may be doing maintenance.
 
Comrade.....just hand over the credit card information. The rest will be sorted out at Guest Services (most likely......or maybe not).

Oh, and may we suggest you use the bathrooms at the airport prior to hopping on the Magical Express.

Now. Please explain to me how the people who couldn't figure out how to walk up to a FP machine, put the ticket in the slot that said "insert here" and pull out a ticket............ will know to do THAT. :teacher:

Truthfully, I don't find it complicated or confusing. I just find that it's not working fully properly and sorry, but I refuse to waste time standing at GS one my vacation for something that is completely out of my hands.

I.dont.think.you should.put.words in my mouth. I.havent spent any time at GR.or the front deck or on the phone with IT and as a local (who.seems to get to the parks faster each.time you post) I would never spend that kind of.time on this.

Guess I'll have to try again later when they aren't doing maintenance. Gee, I hope this happens when I'm in the park and need to make a change to FP+.:thumbsup2

Wow, this really sums up how so much is wrong with MDE right now....

Especially if they're having to do maintenance and updates in the middle of the day
 
Weird issues are out there. It's a massive system, look at the video games lately that can't even host a simple match without issues. Technology is only getting more complicated. Hopefully they realize the issues high up and working to actually fix it.

I have no.idea. I.didnt design the system , Ive just been 'testing' it for the better.part a year. ;)

& sorry for all the periods, Im on my phone (waiting for a flower and garden presentation to start) & tend to fat finger the space bar.
 
Everything is gone from MDE. I was in the middle of making FPP selections, tried to edit and all of a sudden nothing. NOTHING! All my reservations are completely gone. There is a 30 min wait when I tried to call Disney and I can't wait. Is there an issue? Will my plans be recovered?

Why? It's not like guests now need to depend on the website to make any changes to FP, look up their dining times, link their magic bands.......Oh, Wait a minute.....
