My Disney AP question

When I go to use the APP, I put in the reservation # & our last name. Then I get the message that it’s under my husband’s name. Why can only he get FastPasses?
Our window opens in 7 1/2 hours & I'm not sure I can wake him up at 4 am!

Did he enter the names of each person in your party and also link your name to your “My Disney Experience” email address? I believe once he has done that you will also have control over booking fastpasses and reservations for the whole party.
