Ok, just realized I have not finished my trip reports. December 9th Magic Kingdom. My son stayed with my father at Fort Wilderness Campground since my daughter, my wife and I went to Cindys for breakfast. We got up and was told that the boat to MK did not start for another half hour even though we were told otherwise. Anyway, hopped on the boat to the contemporary to catch the monorail, waited forever for it. Finally got on a monorail, and they had to pause for a mechanical check. Luckily I had my cell phone with me and after many a call to disney, remember the number, gave the CM my reservation number and he let them know we would be late.
For those of you who saw my pic of the castle in other threads, that was taken that morning, got to breakfast late, but it was not a problem. We got to see Mary Poppins, Belle, Snow White, Princess Aurora, and Cinderella. Cindarella was a little snobish, I don't think she liked the fact that my daughter was not feeling well still with Pneumonia. But had a good breakfast anyway.
Then, we met my inlaws and father and son in front of the carousel. Went and throughly enjoyed Mickeys Philharmagic again, split off from the women as they went to Toontown, we went on BTMR and Splash, then went on Pirates and the tiki riim which my father in law decided to skip (his loss). Met up with the family at Country Bear Jamboree.
Then we went on small world, teacups, speedway, back to BTMR and Splash and the haunted mansion. We went to go on the TTA but as we were starting to go, as the doors were shutting, it shut down, had to get off, so we went on COP, once we got off, we went on our way back out to TTA. We split up again, rode Buzz a few times (I kicked butt).
Headed out to go back to WL for dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe. My in-laws took my little one in their van to meet up with us. Finally they show up, 45 min wait at whispering canyon, so we hang around having a few drinks at the bar.
At whispering canyons, they made all the dads getup and do a little song and dance, "my little buttercup", then the moms to do the chicken dance. They even forced everyone to stand up and do the Hokey Pokey
Our Waitress was great, she brought our drinks and straws, she had a fistfull of straws and threw them in the air. Our neighbors next to us had the same waitress and got the same treatment, so we all gathered the straws and threw them back. The "manager" came over and made someone from the other table clean up the straws LOL. Had a great meal, they had the children ride hobby horses around the resteraunt, and they made hats for us out of Kercheifs. They then brought us hadiwipes and again, a whole bunch of the all over the table, it was great. If you get a chance and you are into having fun, you need to go here.
Finally, my dad and son head off to the campground since my in-laws were hanging out for the evening. Had a nice quiet night. Getting ready for checkout the next morning :-(
