Now where did I leave off. Hmm, We really liked the Caribbean Beach Resort. We were in Jamaica 44 on the second floor. Nice and quiet. The rooms were nice, it had a bench seat with a drawer under it and a curtain seperating the sink and bathroom area from the sleeping area. Great for changing more room. View from the room for us was palm trees, another building and the parking lot, but nothing was bad about it, the buldings are nice looking so it was not that bad. My duaghter was even lucky enough to get an elephant towel animal and 2 towel mice holding the tooth brushes.
On dec 6th we went to Animal Kingdom (albeit late since we had a late night the night before). Low crowds, the longest I had to wait for anything was about 10 min, for it's a bug life. Walk on to everything else. Lots of animals out but we did not see the lion.
Had our first Turkey legs for lunch and there was a bird who looked like he was interested in having some, but we would not let him or her.
Had dinner at the CBR and was not overly impressed. It was not the sit down resteraunt, but if I had anything bad to say, I guess it would be the food.
Sent my son and daughter back to the room and my wife and I caught a bus for the Magic Kingdom to ride a few rides. As we walked in we caught the beginning of Spectro magic, and my son calls me on my cell phone in the middle of it because he cannot figure out how give my daughter her medicine, I told him I would call him back not realizing I don't have his number. I went to the camera store, they actually called the resort for me on their phone and I was able to talk him though it.
The rest of the night, we went on Splash, the haunted mansion, did some shopping and walking around. Got our seats for Wishes, loved it, loved it, loved it. Then we hung around for the second showing of Spectro Magic.
The only night with just my wife and I and it turned out great. Daughter still had a temp, but was saying she was feeling better.
