Since I had so much help from this board while planning my trip, I am going to post our dining reviews. We just got back yesterday and I miss it already..

I don't have any breakfast reviews because we ate breakfast everyday in the food court at the POR Riverside. They had a good selection of Mickey waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, a bakery, etc. We enjoyed it.

Day 1
Lunch in food court at POR Riverside-cheeseburgers are pretty good. Chicken fettucini was blah, DS loved the chicken nuggets, DH ate the personal pizza and said it was good.
Dinner at Le Cellier- When you walk into the dining room of the restaurant it is so warm and inviting. Very understated and dim, I loved the candle light fixtures. So to the food. For appetizers I had the cheddar cheese soup which was delicious and did not taste at all like beer. DD had the tomato stack which was light and good. DH had the beef kabob which was also good. I liked my soup the best!
For meals I had the mushroom filet which could be cut with a butter knife. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I loved it. DH had the New York strip which was also good. DD had the salmon which was also wonderful, DSS had the prime rib, he loved it but I don't care much for prime rib so I didn't taste it. DS had the steak off of the kid's menu which he loved.
For desert we ordered the s'mores which were good but didn't compare to the maple creme brulee which was sweet and creamy and did not taste overly of maple syrup, which I was pleasantly surprised. DD had the rasberry sorbet...yum! It was delicious!
This meal was excellent! We will definitely go back.

Day 2
Lunch at Cosmic Ray's in MK-either my expectations of this place were too high or they were having a bad day but I was not at all impressed with this place. We all ordered burgers, bacon cheeseburgers for DH and me, regular cheeseburgers for the little ones. All I can say is they are ok. We probably won't go back here unless it's to try the rotisserie chicken that our friends ate and enjoyed.
Dinner at Ohana's- We had about a 15 min wait and had Mudslides in the waiting area. They were great! We had no idea how wonderful it is to have a window seat in this restaurant and we were lucky to get one! It is worth the extra wait to request one if you go. The view is spectacular. We had 7:30 ressies and the contrast of the lights of the castle on the dark night sky was breathtaking. On to the food! So, there is no ordering at this restaurant, I was a little nervous about this. They just bring the food to you. We were not disappointed. For appetizers we had the fried wontons with the dipping sauces. Awesome! They came with the mixed greens which were also very good. Add some of the peanut dipping sauce on the salad to make it even better.
The shrimp and chicken wings came out next. Shrimp were pretty good, being from N.O. may have skewed my opinion on them but I cannot complain. The chicken wings were messy, sweet, and yummy.
Next came the scalloped potatoes and the mixed veggies. These were the best scalloped potatoes I've ever eaten. They were so so good. Veggies were good too.
Ok so here comes the meats. By this time the table is just crammed with food. They bring huge skewers of sausage, sirloin steak, and pork loin, fresh off the fire. I think they may have had turkey too but I didn't eat any. The steak and pork were delicious. By the time I got to the sausage I only had enough room for one bite, it was good too. I love the fire-cooked taste..yuumm!
Save room for desert because the bread pudding with banana's foster sauce is the mother of all bread puddings! It was sweet, warm, and absolutely fantastic.
During dinner the kids participated in a coconut roll and hula lessons, they had a wonderful time and loved this place. We will definitely go back.

Day 3
Lunch at Flame Tree Barbeque at AK. We had lunch around 11 that morning and it was a good idea cause this place got packed by the time we were leaving. DH and me had the pork (me) and the beef (DH) sandwiches for lunch which were served with bbq beans, and fries I think? The bbq beans were so good. The sandwiches are good too, a little dry but after you add the bbq sauce they were much better. DSS and DD had the ribs and the chicken and they liked both. DS had the kids meal and he liked it. Overall this place was good and we would eat there again. The ambiance of AK, with the birds and monkeys in the trees, along with the little baby ducks begging for a french fry (don't feed them!) is so fun.
Dinner tonight was at BOMA. Well what can I say about this place. I liked the seafood coconut soup, and that's about it. My family loves to eat different kinds of foods but this place just wasn't even ok. The food was lukewarm, we tried several different things and either they had a funny taste or no taste at all. DS ate the basic kid stuff, mac n cheese, pb&j, etc. and he didn't really like it either. The rotisserie meats are ok. I'm trying to find something positive about BOMA but honestly we were disappointed in this one. Definitely won't go back again.

Day 4- Lunch at Pizza Plant at MGM. What can I say? It was fun, pizza was good, and I liked the salad that came with it. Kids loved the games, they have dance dance revolution, and it was a nice break from the heat! For some reason the basketball game was free and I had to practically tear my son off of it to get him to leave the place! We would go back here.
Dinner tonight was at Prime Time Cafe. This place is great. The atmosphere here is so fun. Make sure you all wear your baseball caps and put those elbows on the table! For apps we had the onion rings which were very good, and the shrimp cocktail which was great. We had the meatloaf which was great, fried chicken, yum yum, and the seafood primavera that DH loved. Kids had the shakes, chocolate and pb&j. The shakes were ok, I'm not a big fan of shake mix shakes so I didn't care for them. The pb&j was good but you can't drink too much! We also had the cobbler which was very good. We would go back here.

Day 5-
Lunch at Cantina de San Angel in Mexico at Epcot. We got the combo platter which has 2 chicken tacos (soft), one quesadilla(sp), beans and salsa. DS had the kids lunch. The lunch here was great! We loved sitting outside with the view of the water and the world. The food was very good. We really liked this place and would eat there again.
Dinner was at WCC. Being so open to the Wilderness Lodge I was surprised at the noise level in this place. The antics of the staff were funny and entertaining. For apps we had the nachos and the southwestern chicken soup. Nachos were not so good. They were lukewarm and their idea of chili is nowhere near ours. Not very much flavor but not terrible either. The southwestern chicken soup was so good! For dinner DH had the skillet, I had the NY strip, DD and DSS had the chicken pasta. DS had the kids meal. The food looked like it sat under the heat lamp for just a few minutes too long. The baked beans had a hard layer of who knows what on top. All of the meats on the skillet were cool to lukewarm, and he never got the cornbread. The NY strip was cold and tasteless. The chicken pasta was ok. Desert we had the tortilla bowl with vanilla ice cream-very good! Kids had the ice cream sundaes and they liked them. We were a little disappointed in this place and we won't go back again.

For a late snack this night we ordered pizza from Giordano's. I can't say enough good things about this place. The delivery was quick. We ordered pizza, mozzarella sticks, and fried mushrooms....YYYYUUUMM. This place is fantastic and a must do! The pizza is so filling, we ordered the thick crust, oh I wish we had one here!

Day 6-
We ate lunch in the food court at POR. Burgers, chicken parmesean, etc. All very good.
For dinner we ate at the Sci-Fi Dinner Theater. This place is so cool. My kids loved watching the movie clips. We had the spin and artichoke dip for apps, it was ok. DH had the onion rings which were very good DS had the cheese and fruit with yogurt, he loved it.
For dinner we had the shrimp pasta (3), DH had the steak, DS ordered something off the kids menu, I can't remember what. Shrimp pasta was ok. There is ALOT of asiago cheese on top which the kids didn't like. Shrimp were a little undercooked. DH said the steak was ok too. Not too flavorful but not horrible. For desert the kids had the sundaes which were huge and they loved, I had the apple and pecan crisp, it wasn't good at all, DH had the cheesecake-very good. Overall this meal was ok. We would possibly go back, only for lunch and for the experience, not for dinner again.
Overall we were surprised at the dining experience we had at Disneyworld. The dining plan is great and we had alot of food left over. We really enjoyed it. Any questions just ask!

Great reviews!! Thank you so much!!

Question though..where did you eat at Magic Kingdom on day two? Casey's is a hot dog place...they don't sell burgers and chicken.

Loved the reviews, can't wait to take my friend and her kids to Prime Time for dinner! :thumbsup2

Thanks for taking the time to post the great reviews.

(We had essentially the same experience at Boma. For the life of me I cannot understand why there is so much hype about this place.)

We are leaving in 2 1/2 weeks and are looking forward to it--we have ADR at ohana, brown derby, chef mickey and for the hddr---did you have ADRs for all of your meals--obviously not at the POR, but for scifi, etc. I did not want to overplan our days by scheduling too many meals to put us on such a strict schedule, but I worry about getting decent meals too.

We did have ADR's for every dinner. I was also concerned about having to stick to a schedule but the reason why I made ADRs every day was because I knew it would be packed. We decided before we left that we would just play it by ear and if the ADR didn't fit with that day we would skip it. We ended up using all of them and we didn't feel inconvenienced at all. I was glad we made them because every evening while we were waiting at the restaurants, we watched people without ADR's being turned away over and over again. I say just make them, just to have them but don't feel like you have to go just because you have a ressie. Have fun, I wish I was going with you!

Thanks for the reviews. :thumbsup2 Our first dinner in October is at Ohanas so I was glad to hear the review. We are trying Boma because I am curious about it and my DD8 wanted to see AKL.Plus it is Free (free dining)so it is a good time to try new places. :)

Thanks for sharing your reviews, I enjoyed them. :cool1:

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

We have enjoyed Giordano's pizza many times while in Chicago! I just checked their website & was thrilled to confirm that the one you patronized is indeed one of their shops! If you don't mind helping a Giordano-holic out, could you tell me where you stayed that they delivered to? We'll be on WDW property and I'd be over the moon if we could get one of their pies delivered!

Wow...totally craving one right now!!!!!

Thanks for your reviews. Sorry to hear about WCC. I was looking forward to eating there on our upcoming trip. Well, we may just try it anyway.

Thank you for the reviews! You just confimed about half of my reservations in June! And they were all the good ones!!! :goofy:

We're also staying at POR so it was definitely a relief to hear great things!! Glad you enjoys your trip!

NolaRN,

Thanks for posting your reviews. I'm sorry you hit WCC on an off night. And as far as Boma, my DSs said they would go back in a heart beat but I am unsure. We dined there on a Sunday evening and the choices just seemed rather limited. We're undecided on that one!

You mentioned people being turned away. Being Easter/Vacation week, I imagine it was a full house! How did you find the crowds in the parks?

Thanks for all your info! :goodvibes

Hey Mart,
We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside. When I called and asked if they delivered to Disney resorts the guy said, it depends, what's the phone number? Not sure if that means they don't deliver to all of them or what but you may want to call and find out. BTW, while you're there see if they can UPS me one..j/k!
