Dinner at O’Hana. We were seated in the section behind where they do all the cooking, at a table that was pushed up against a huge pillar. So, I had my dinner with my shoulder CONSTANTLY hitting this pillar. They brought out the lazy Susan, with the appetizers. Everything was wonderful. I ordered a Lapu Lapu. Very chock full of alcohol, so I watered it down a little bit. Would not pay $10 for it again. They started bringing out the skewers. Turkey and steak first, which was wonderful. I loved the peanut dipping sauce. Then the pork (I had one piece) and the shrimp (I had 2). Now, DH told her to surprise him with the shrimp, so she put 13 on his plate. Only then did he discover they were peel and eat. What a mess. When she came back around, I had one more piece of turkey. I was stuffed. But, DH really wanted to try that chocolate mousse dessert, so we split it and the pineapple/caramel came out, too. It was alright. Nothing spectacular. The mousse was out of this world, however. But, for $88, I would not do this dinner again.

POR Food Court – dinner and breakfast and one lunch. This food court sucked. So small of selection (the middle one was closed – only offered bakery, pizza/pasta and burgers). The breakfasts were the worst I ever had.

Main Street Bakery – ate here for breakfast 2 times. WONDERFUL!!! I had the French toast bread one day, and a blueberry cream cheese cobbler the next time. DH had Quiche and a Cinnamon Roll. It was a highlight. So good.

Starring Rolls Bakery – MGM. The best dessert. A moon pie with milk. It was so freaking good!!!

Oktoberfest – Epcot – DH got a bratwurst with sauerkraut, said it was the best he has ever had.

Cantina de San Angel – we split the nachos, and they were really good. Very big and filling.

San Angel Inn – They took the Mahi Mahi off the lunch menu, so I was bummed. Got the Tacos al Carbon and some Sopa Azteca. Still good  Love the chips they serve with the meal. DH had the soup and Pollo a la Rajahs. He said it was really good!!

Electric Umbrella – garden burger for me that tasted like it was washed in dish soap. DH had a burger. Place was beyond dirty and disgusting, the staff untrained. Very disappointing from a Disney place.

Shutters – I have been dreaming of coming back since I had the jerk chicken at Captains Tavern last May. So, we go back. I do NOT like the new restaurant. You feel like you are still in the food court. It is not shut off from it at all, but for a thin wall, where you can still hear everything. I order the chicken. It tastes horrible, like cinnamon. They bake it now instead of how they used to cook it. It was not good. The potatoes and long beans were very good, though. We each had a house salad with the vinaigrette, and that was wonderful. DH, however, had his best meal of the trip. He had the Pan Seared Red Snapper with yellow rice and sautéed spinach. He was in heaven!!!!!

Grand Floridian Café - lunch. I had the Cobb salad, which was so good. I loved the dressing. He had the best Rueben he had ever had – it was HUGE!!! And the bread and dipping oil they give you is wonderful, too!!!

Boatwright’s – POR – Breakfast. We each had a blueprint omelet – I had bacon, cheddar, tomato and mushroom in mine. Comes with potatoes and biscuits. Quite good except it was all swimming in grease. Kind of gross. VERY good bloody Mary, though!!!

Beaches and Cream – he was craving a hot dog, so we got off the boat from MGM to Epcot at YC/BC. Went to BC, and LOVED IT!!! He loved the dog; I got a butterscotch sundae that was HUGE and fabulous!!!!!

Cosmic Rays – veggie burger and hamburger. Good topping bar!!!

Lotus Blossom Café – I got the cool noodle salad with marinated veggies. It was EXCELLENT!!! He got the beef combo thing. He really liked it!!!

We snacked at Norway (lefse and a cookie), and got some German chocolate and a chocolate covered pretzel…which was divine.

Boma – breakfast. Really good. Loved the rotisserie meats with the Boma mustard and the red sauce. Always like this place.

Wolfgang Express in DTD – had the BBQ chicken quesadilla. Was very tasty. He had some kind of chicken sandwich, thought it was really good.

All in all, we ate A LOT this past week, and I am paying for it now, with my work pants being a little tight around the middle. But, I lost about 12 pounds before we went, and I am betting I gained 7 back, so it is alright.

Let me know if you have any questions!!!

Thanks for the reviews! You sure had a lot of great meals.

Was Shutters crowded when you dined there? The Red Snapper dish your DH had sounds delicious!

And if your description of the place is any indication, there WON'T be many folks dining there. Sounds like they didn't put much effort into any "ambiance"--.
Sorry the Blueprint Omlette was greasy--I've always been lucky when I order mine--always just right and chock full of the selected ingredients.
