There are 5 of us - 3 Disney adults and 2 under 10.

We are going in October 2-11 , staying at Poly.

The kids love their character meals (especially Princesses) so we are character heavy.

Getting the DDP.

We are currently 3 credits over the allotment and can't decide what to cut.. Here's our ADR itinerary..

Day 1 - MK
BOG - 11:15am
1900 PF - 6:40pm

Day 2 - EP
Akerhaus - 8:15am

Day 3 - MK/MNSSHP
Kona - 9:30am

Day 4 - Off Day
Chef Mickey - 10:10
Yachtsman - 5:50

Day 5 - AK
Tusker House - 10:20

Day 6 - HS
H&V - 8:45

Day 7 - EP (leaving early)
Ohana - 5:45pm

Day 8 -
BBB ressie for 4YO DD at- 8am
CRT - 10am
BOG - 5pm

That brings me to 12 Table service credits each and we only have 9.

I can pay OOP for Kona breakfast, but still 2 over. I think Yachtsman will need to go (boo) but I really wanted a good steak. CRT could also potentially go, but with DD doing BBB, I'm thinking this will need to stay.

Any other suggestions that I'm overlooking?

I would actually pay OOP for CRT instead of cutting. I read that it is more bang for your buck to pay per person than to use 2 credits.

If you did want to cut, I would cut Chef Mickey since you have Tusker House the next day & BOG dinner since you have CRT that morning.

I'm only counting 11. BOG lunch is QS not TS. I'd drop either Chef Mickey or BOG dinner since you're already having lunch there.

Personally, I would take out 2 character meals and pay OOP for Kona. I would take out Chef Mickey's and either 1900 or Akershus (we prefer Akershus). I'm not a big CRT fan, but understand wanting to do it after BBB. I would keep Yachtsman. IMHO, you will need one good meal to balance out all of that character meal food. Or, cancel Yachtsman, cancel 1 character meal and do a good 1 TS, non-character meal (Trattoria al Forno, Capt. Grill, The Wave, GF Cafe).

I would lose the BOG lunch and pay for BOG dinner out of pocket. It is one that you can easily control your costs on - especially with kids.

3 Disney adults and 2 under 10.

We are going in October 2-11 , staying at Poly.

What is the age of that 3rd Disney adult and is there any chance they might eat a kid's meal at Yachtsman and BoG? If so, that would give you 2 extra credits to use for the real adults. So you could still do Yachtsman and use those 2 credits for one adult (the one who orders the most expensive meal) and pay OOP for everyone else. You would still have the dessert to share.

I would pay OOP for CRT for breakfast (I don't think it's worth the value of 2 TS credits for breakfast). I would also pay OOP for Kona breakfast, where prices are cheaper than other meals and it's easier to control how much you spend, especially with kids who can possibly share a plate.

Kona for sure. I would drop it completely and do captain cooks instead and use a CS credit. They have the Tonga toast just FYI. Probably BOG dinner since you are already doing lunch. I would also drop 1900 PF. This meal was terrible last time we were there plus you already have 2 other princess meals. Unless the step sisters are a must but they are pretty easy to see in the parks.

If you want to experience BOG, keep the lunch and skip the dinner. I think BOG 2x in one trip is a bit overkill.

You've got a lot of character meals in general, with a lot of overlap. TH and CM have the same characters but in different outfits. CRT and Akershus are both princess meals with mostly the same line up (so you'll be seeing Cinderella 3x essentially if you kept 1900).

I personally would not want to eat that many buffets (although I realize that works best for a lot of families). I find that after a while, all the food starts to look and taste the same.

The other Disney adult is 10, but he's a growing boy and a big eater.

I'd like to keep both BOG, since the lunch is only a QS and I want to do the dinner because we want to meet the beast and we've never done dinner there before.

I know we are character heavy, but they really work well for our family since we are all picky eaters, buffets usually have quite the variety and the characters are great entertainment for the kids. Maybe I'll just drop the Kona and pay oop for CRT.

I could also drop 1900PF, but my 4YO is really into Cinderella. We did this last year and the stepsisters were hilarious.

So many decisions!

I would skip Kona, or pay OOP for it.

And I would DEFINITELY skip H&V.

Probably Chef Mickey, too. Grab CS at your resort and eat by the pool :) It's so relaxing!

And by DDP I assume you mean the Deluxe plan. Don't forget about your two snack credits each day. Instead of breakfast at Chef Mickey, for example, why not grab some breakfast items at the food court. I see you don't have breakfast ressies on your EPCOT days. Are you using your snack credits for items at F&W fest?
