Sunday 06/19 - Arrive at Villas at Wilderness Lodge (although I should add the ham and turkey sandwich on Song Airlines was really really good) Thursday moved to Beach Club Villas. All breakfast was in room.

Dinner - Whispering Canyon - Fun - Food was good - All you can drink milkshake was phat (and fat) (I was halfway through my 4th when my wife ordered me to stop. It was fun watching the kids stare in fright as the throngs of people delivered 14 ketchup bottles to my table.

Monday 06/20

Lunch - Cinderlella's Royal Table - Great - I may like this one better than the breakfast (gasp!) easier to book, good food, good princesses.

Dinner - Chef Mickey's - Good - I felt it was a bit overpriced. The food was OK, but the waitress was great and the characters were great too. and the dessert was great.

Tuesday 06/21 Sea World Day.

Lunch -Spice Mill - Food was good, but was a bit pricey. Limited kids meal options (PB&J or Hot Dog?) Lucky my kids ate each one, and were more excited about the Shamu Lunchbox than the food.

Dinner - Dine with Shamu - Absolutely Incredible - The food could have been whatever they give Shamu (Although it was a very good buffet) the Shamu performance was right in front of our table (about 8 ft. from us. Breathtaking) Good dessert too.

Wednesday 06/22

Lunch - Pizzafarri - Animal Kingdom. Came in as the rain hit. Place was jammed and the AC was broke. Pizza was not so good. Panini was quite good. Dessert Pizza was surprisingly good. Forgot to ask for DDE discount :(.

Dinner - Crystal Palace - Love the buffet here, Love the Pooh and gang characters, my daughters loved them too. No complaints at all.

Thursday 06/23

Lunch - Pincess Lunch at Akershus - had to cancel the breakfast (which I really liked) for the lunch when I rescheduled the trip and I was impressed. My wife was a little nervous about the Norweigen food. But it was very good. Choices for everyone, all very good. Salmon salad excellent. Turnips and meatballs on the side. Good dessert (althought they make the rice pudding a little off) Princesses were very short, but I didn't mind since we had a good time at CRT

Dinner - Hollywood and Vine - Fantasmic Dinner Package. Since my wife is a vegetarian and my Brother in law is a carb free eater, I stuck with many buffet type meals.. as you can see. Decent buffet. OK. Nice price, and worth it for the Fantasmic seating. No DDE discount :(.

Friday 06/24

Breakfast - Beach Club Room Service. Great service. good food. Made the kitchen table and set up all the food. Loads of food. Told the kids dad got up early and cooked. Great Coffee, BTW.

Lunch - Beaches and Cream - No food for me, some kids meals and a kitchen sink. My carb free BIL did not help but me, my wife, my 6YO neice and 4YOD finished about 2/3 of it. Started out great, ended up kind of disgusting, but it was fun all the way. Terrible waitress.

Dinner - Mitsukoshi Tappanyaki - Epcot. Good, not great, overpriced and on the same level as some of the Japanese places around here. No DDE discount may have soured me. or maybe the Kitchen sink bloated me, but I wasn't into it. It was hot. Cook was fun and kids enjoyed watching food, but there was not enough Knife throwing to keep my 4YOD entertained. ("Daddy, When is she going to throw the knives?"). I was more upset that I cancelled Le Cellier for this, as Le Cellier would have cut into Illuminations.. And I do not like missing Illuminations.

Saturday 06/25 Check Out

Breakfast - Cape May Cafe - Good Breakfast, same great Coffee, said goodbye to the gang and headed to the airport. My neice, who is a Goofy fanatic, asked if Goofy could sign Dippy Dog instead of Goofy which she had just learned was his original name. She was refused.. Goofy is only allowed to spell his name with GOOFY... I always learn something new in WDW.

That was my food blurbs for the week, not to be confused with reviews.

great reviews....I too, thought Teppanyaki was a little overpriced and compared to the Japanease places we have locally it donesn't even compare.....and yeah, not having that DDE discount there makes it even less appealing...

Enjoyed your reviews.

Dippy Dog....didn't know that!

Thanks for the reviews. It seems H&V is hit or miss when trying to use the DDE or FDP with the dining plan.

Thanks for the reviews. I'm going to have to eat at Whispering Canyon soon - the all-you-can-drink milkshake sounds fantastic! :drinking1

I frowned at the review of Teppanyaki. :(
We eat there 5 or 6 times when we are there. Now they don't give the salad.... you can't use your discount card..... yuck.
Is it so popular they are discouraging people from eating there???

This is why the free dining plan promo is so awesome. Price is not an issue so how can you not enjoy every restaurant, you have (almost) cart blanche!

Unfortunately, if you have an AP you cannot get the free dining plan without purchasing a one-day ticket for everyone in your party & you lose your AP room discount. But there is the DDE card for AP holders that helps with the cost of meals.

We are definitely trying the kitchen sink in a couple of weeks, can I replace some flavours of ice cream with just plain vanilla. Sounds less disgusting when it all melts. I guess that's why they call it the kitchen sink!

I didn't ask, I just ate... I know there was chocolate/Rum Raison/Mint Chocolate Chip/Vanilla and a few others. It's not the ice cream that gets you, it's the toppings.. so many of them. and the whip cream... a whole can, may be too much.

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

great reviews...

we tried to get into Beaches & Cream 6/21.....booked solid for one hour...even take out line was 20 minutes long.. I said forget it.

I sometimes wonder why they don't expand it because it is so popular.
In actuality, very few tables there...
