My Dilemma

My trip is currently scheduled to begin June 2, mainly because I couldn't get May 30, 31 and June 1 off. Now the entire week of Memorial day is open on our vacation schedule, but I won't get confirmation of getting the days until 2pm of May 24 (union rules). Currently there are seats available on the morning flight from Pittsburgh to Orlando on May 30 priced below what I paid. I know I will have to pay the change fee and the friend I'm vacationing with will be arriving that day so the hotel isn't a problem. I'm just worried that because I have to wait until next Thursday, the price will jump above what I paid. I'm willing to pay the change fee, but I really can't afford a lot more. Does anyone think I will still be able to get the flight at a deal less than a week before? I think I paid about $130 or so for the flight down.

If the fare did jump up, then there was never anything you could have done about it.

If the fare did not jump up, you could just as well have waited until Thursday before booking at all.
