My DH is starting to get addicted!

My husband had never been to the parks before he met me, so I was lucky enough to be there when he and our son went for their first time in 2004.
But even after going he didn't quite understand how I could be so excited and addicted to the parks and all things Disney.

Well, we are planning our next trip for Jan. 2006 and at first he left it all to me (again) but now that it's getting closer and closer he's starting to come around! lol! I think I'm rubbing off on him!
He is the GM at our local Domino's pizza and one night he found a hidden mickey on an order of cheesy bread (yes, food) so he saved it to show me!
Now he's finding them in bleach spots, stains, etc.
The other day he sat down with me and helped me come up with our ADR's!!!! And even volunteered to get up early with me later this month to start calling!
I am so happy to finally have a partner in my madness!

Oh and the final thing that made me realize he's hooked. . . .
I've been wanting a Disney tattoo for forever and he's always been against it. . . says it's too cliche even if Mickey holds a special place in my heart because of my past. . . .
yesterday he SURPRISED me and took me to a tattoo artist and we got one done!

Congrats to you I was fortunate my Dh was just as addicted as I.I really miss that among other things it's nice to have a partner in your addiction. Have fun planning

We've been going to WDW since it was JUST MK. The first few trips were few and far between and DH would let me do all of the planning. But, the more we go, the more he wants to be involved. I booked our next trip (Oct 13-24) last January and have been here on the DIS a LOT over the past 10 months. But this is the first trip that DH has been lurking here very often too. You just never know....maybe next year he'll actually post!

glad to hear your DH took an interest. My DH once in a while puts in a request. Such as - are we seeing that hawaiian show (he means Spirit of Aloha) ...Eat with Pooh (CP) ? ..... What about that place that has Thanksgiving too (LTT) ?

We have been to WDW a few times.
He knows not to ask where we are staying. We go again in 2006.
14 nights - 2 have reservations.
one at WL - AAA rate courtyard @ $279 and the other at the Dolphin - teacher rate $210

I am still waiting for the AP rates to come out.
We have our AP vouchers and I even bought DQ tickets from a discount ticket web-site (from www.mousesavers.com)
So DH knows better than to ask me where we are staying.
His only request is a deluxe at a good price.
