Just to quickly hijack your thread, I installed a new ice maker in our freezer last Friday. It was actually pretty easy. It is nice when you can save the repair man fees. DH has decided he is going to be "handy" around the house and has done some projects. They are turning out pretty good so far, especially the fake tin ceiling in the kitchen. We are redoing the boys bathroom and were going to put in a new sink and countertop and when he went to take out the sink there were no shut off valves for the water supply. We are having a repair man come in today to take care of that job now.
I'm so proud of my DH. The ice-maker went out yesterday so I called today to have a repair man come out. The soonest they could get here is next tuesday. So tonight, after working a long day and running a few errands after work my dh takes apart the fridge, tinkers with some part or another, puts it all back together and went to bed. I've heard it drop about 2 trays of ice allready! The bill for the repair guy was 65 just to come to the house. I'll have to get dh a surprise for tomorrow.
