Forget about getting up early while on vacation...doesn't happen in my family. DH and DS sleep late, they are early risers usually, and feel the need to sleep late while on vacation. I always feel like we are missing out on WDW, when we don't get to the parks until 2 pm. I noticed that the touringplans.com have plans for the late sleepers. Has anyone done that plan? Would it be worth it for me to get them?

If I were you, I would let them sleep, and go to the park myself. Then, meet up with them somewhere for breakfast or lunch. Then, everyone is happy.....and you get some time all by yourself....which every mother needs!

I never thought of that!! They get so agrivated with me when I stop at the shops and look around. I like that idea, not so sure DH would like that very much.

Tell him "You snooze, you lose!" Seriously, though....I myself would love to have several hours to myself. I never have before (in Disney). I think this could truly work to your advantage!

they have a late riser plan that would be helpful for you .. worthing checking it out if your hubby doesn't like the "you snooze you lose" thing

I always get everyone up early. :) I have told them that every minute at Disney is costing up money! :yay: They can sleep when they get home! (They sleep late every weekend anyway so I don't feel too bad!

Ask them how many attractions they would like to do at a park? One or two with 60-90 minutes of waiting in line for each one (and maybe not even getting on some of the really good rides) or five or six with 10-20 minutes wait for each attraction? And then they can hit the pool and sleep in the lounge chair or take a nap.

Not a chance that would work in my family. I either need to find a way to tour the parks late in the day. I really like the idea of DH meeting up with me.
