Things have been busy in the Sanderson household, and some of you have been keeping up with the news, good and bad, as it comes (and goes). I know many of you are praying for us, and many others have no idea what to say or do. Still others have no idea what I’m talking about.

So just to clear things up, we were expecting a new addition to the household, and it should suffice to say that sometimes miracles DON’T happen. Both the Mrs. and me are doing fine, and as I’ve told even my dearest friends, less is more right now. We feel your prayers, and you needn’t feel awkward expressing sympathy if you’re so inclined. For me, focusing on business as usual has been the biggest comfort. And with more out-of-town assignments being thrown at me than ever, all my free time is being dedicated to my family.

However, life on Main Street USA has never been better, and there actually has never been a better time to come visit! The summer crowds are gone, and the livin’ is easy.

There is a little HOT NEWS to report: In keeping with the Journey Through Time theme of the September Pin Event, Yours Truly, Scoop, will be transported in time to EPCOT over the course of the four day event to go play with all his Pin Pals! I’m not sure how that will effect Scoop’s Seminar, the One O’Clock Pin Talk at the Exposition Hall on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, but I’ll let you know as soon as I know.

Also, I will be away on assignment for much of October, and Scoop’s Seminar schedule will be very strange, if not downright spooky. It will probably remain weird and wacky right through the holiday season, even all the way through to the last regularly scheduled daily session New Year’s Day. After the first of the year, you’ll catch Scoop wherever his day takes him, just as you would when any other resident of Main Street USA makes an appearance. Let’s just be glad we live in a world where we can still find our Mayor out on the street glad-handing constituents and visitors alike.

you and your family were in our thoughts over the last couple of weeks.. i don`t know the right words in english language to express what i want to say .. so i better shut up and will come over next week to deliver the hugs in person ... see you soon and i hope british airways will handle the large bag of pixie dust ( and other goodies ) nicely this time..
many many warm greetings...

Michaela, Felix and Stephan

Scoop,

So very sorry to hear of your news. Sending prayers to you and yours to help you through this difficult time.

Dearest Scoop and family,

My sincerest condolances on your loss. You are just one of the most wonderful people I know. Fred and I treasure your friendship and all you have done for the hobby we share.

May God continue to bless and guide in these days ahead. He is our greatest love, and it is so good to know we are in His care.
Please know we are continuing to pray for you and your precious wife and Natalie, your princess.

Blessings beyond measure,
Winnie and Fred

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

See you around Main Street.... even if it won't be till the snow if flying here in Ohio :)

as well, Scoop. I do look forward to seeing you at Epcot! You were the HIGHLIGHT of the Toontown event that didn't happen in Toontown, and I KNOW you'll be adding all your special charm to the Journey thru Time event...if the hurricane doesn't interfere, I'll be lookin' forward to seeing you!
Fondly,
Suzanne (aka Suzy to you and my family!)

Dear Scoop,

You do not know me, and I do not know you. I DO, however, know that you were once very kind to a wonderful boy, my son Steven. He thinks the world of you and still talks about his time spent with you at one of your seminars. If I knew nothing else about you, this would be enough for me to know that someday, someone wonderful in your life will realize how lucky he or she is to call you their father. My thoughts are with you and your wife.
