There were roofers on the house next to my parents one day as I was cutting the grass and one of the men pointed to a spot I missed from the roof when my dad went inside. The were all laughing so hard I thought they were going to fall off! After cursing them out, I had to laugh with them.
But as for my husband saying this .... that would be the last time I cut the grass.
I woulda laid their ears back. Unfortunately, there is no one else who can cut the grass at my house. DH can't do it(heart/lung disease) and DD17 can't do it(broken foot.) When he said that, I just looked at him like 
and dropped my equipment. to his credit, he did pick up the blower and tried to blow some of the debris off for a few minutes. I think he realized how it came across when he saw how red-faced I was (get very red when I work in the heat.) Dh likes a perfect lawn, will every once in a while decide the kids need to cut the grass, they cut the grass but then their "lines" aren't straight enough so he gets mad and later complains that the kids never cut the grass
That doesn't seem quite fair to me, I'd be reshuffling that work load. In our house we both work and for the most part I take care of the inside while he does the outside.
