MY DD "outed" me last night!

A couple of weeks ago, we BOO'd two of our neighbors. It did not take off. One neighbor put the ghosty on her front door, but I don't think she sent out another BOO. The other neighbor never even out the ghost out. Be fat flop. oh well, we had fun.

Last night, my DH took the kids aorund to the houses. When they got the house the we boo'd, (the one where she never put the ghost out), she was using the halloween bucket I put all the goodies in. My DD pipes up "we gave that to you"

The woman ask her if she Boo'd them. DD said yes! I guess I am embarrassed now, because it never took off. You know?

I wouldn't be embarrassed....You did a nice thing and because they decided not to ...should make HER embarrassed!

Also I would continue doing it next year....just make sure you leave her off of your list!

But - how did the neighbor react when she learned that your family had done the "boo-ing"??

I had the bucket for 2 years, I didn't read the directions. When I did, I still didn't get it right, however, the person I passed it along to, did! So, here in Washington Township, it's back on track!

I can relate to this thread as we just returned from WDW late Saturday night and found a "BOO" on our doorstep. We were gone nine days so I have no idea how long the treats were there but feel really bad as no other doors on our street had "BOOs" on them. I think someone gave it to us to get things started not realizing we weren't home!
